In her past life, Absolution lived in the slums of Iacon. She was used as a toy by the Autobot elite. When Zero found her, she was drained of energon and barely functional. Loose wires sparked inside corroded wounds and scorch marks from Autobot weapon fire. Zero offered her a chance at a better life, one free from the pain she endured, and with tears in her remaining optic she accepted the offer. Zero took her to the church and laid her upon the alter to the creator, Unicron the Life Giver, where she was reborn in the pure light. Her broken and battered frame reformatted into the knight of justice, Absolution.
