Bleedback's Bio
Interrogator
Bleedback was once a low-ranking Decepticon grunt, before a fateful mission that sent him to the middle of nowhere. Crumple had likewise been dispatched to the area as well, and, after a brief confrontation, was left carting Bleedback's mangled body and severed head back to base. Highshift attempted to completely rewrite Bleedback's memory, but because his core personality refused to be altered, Highshift left most of Bleedback's old memories intact. The majority of these memories are buried beneath layers of falsified information, but under particularly stressful circumstances (such as the midst of particularly heated battles, or when Magmus sets Discotion on fire) these old memories are prone to surfacing. This has left him extremely paranoid, as he thoroughly believes that he is slowly going insane.
Bleedback's abnormal body design has resulted in a unique resonance, which causes objects pressed against him to break down at the molecular level. Though the effect is fairly mild, solid weaponry (such as the occasional bullet) that becomes lodged in his framework will melt over time and dribble from the very holes they made.
This same resonance, however, makes it impossible for him to use any form of additional armor plating, lest it liquify and gum up his joints. It also prevents him from holding weaponry for an extended period of time, as they will eventually dissolve and, with power source unshielded, often explode. Thus, his only option is to use weaponry that was initially built into his frame, forcing him to literally fight 'tooth and claw'.
Bleedback tackles his interrogative duties with great fervor, dissecting Decepticons piece by piece, using natural abilities to slowly dissolve vital components. He can sometimes get too involved, however, and kill the victim, which forces Loadlock to discretely dump the bodies in the old smelting pools.
Bleedback controls what is, quite possibly, the only Autobot torture chamber, a fact that has not gone unnoticed by the higher-ups. While his operations are completely unsanctioned, he occasionally finds 'care packages' on his doorstep, typically from some of the older soldiers who lack Prime's boundless compassion. Though often little more than conventional torture tools, he's also amassed a large music library, consisting mostly of squeaky J-pop, opera, and even a bit of AC/DC, which he uses to "enhance the mood" for particularly tough nuts.
And, of course, to drown out the screaming.
