If there was a word to describe Adamant, your 2 choices are "Resilient" or "Obstinate". He will never back down from his duties, ever, and he can take so much punishment physically, he seems to almost be invincible. He rarely leaves the Mercenaries base of operations, since he is always upgrading their systems, at work building something new, developing a new material to work with, or waiting for the others to return from a mission, since one or more of them might need repairs, or worse, has to be brought back from stasis-lock. When he is forced into combat, or on a mission, he is utterly relentless. He is stubborn when he is in the base, but he is even more so when in combat, or on a mission. He gets even worse, if believable, when he has to repair one of his comrades. He knows they need his help, he has the skills to do so, so he has no problem restraining them so he can make them fully operational again. He refuses to accept failure, and this is one his best traits, since he carries out whatever mission he is set to with skill, knowledge and brute strength, not to mention his seemingly unending willpower. Creative and imaginative, his huge size is matched only by his mind, in both creativity and stubbornness. Loves to create new gadgets and materials for the Mercenaries, as well as upgrading them in anyway he can. His loyalty is so strong, it can almost be considered a fault, as he refuses to let anyone down, fail a mission, or lose a patient once he makes a commitment. He dislikes Quazar's aloof attitude. He feels that someone so gifted mentally should be more of a "Team-Player" sometimes. He is the Mercenaries back-up for security, in case Horrendous is on a mission, and he takes it seriously. He will patrol without stopping, or guard without moving or even showing emotion. He and Horrendous are consistently upgrading the security systems as the Mercenaries base of operation. He is the only one that Horrendous trusts when he's not around, since Adamant will never let you down until he ceases to function. He actually considers Horrendous his only friend, and will lay his life on the line for him if need be.
Abilities:
Strong and extremely resilient, Adamant is a huge, physically powerful Transformer. His knowledge of engineering, material creation, and his ability to apply those skills, from engineering, to material fabrication, and medical skill makes him a valuable member of the Mercenaries. He has the ability to create just about anything you need, from new armor, to a scanner that can detect energon miles away, to an upgrade to your mobility, as well as bring a patient back from the brink of losing their spark. He is equipped with scanners that can monitor anything from tensile strength, to temperature resistance, to molecular density, helping him design and create new materials to further the Mercenary cause, and monitor any patient's systems, so he know what to fix first. As a robot has a scoped particle beam rifle that he affectionately named "Obstinance", since everyone calls him 'Obstinate', and he can use it with skill. As a dump truck, can carry just about anything you'll need, from weapons, to materials, to equipment.
Weaknesses:
Adamant is one stubborn character. The only 3 Transformers he'll listen to are Nautilus, Lord Vile and Horrendous. This can cause strife with him and the rest of the team, but they can't afford to lose him since his skill is legendary, they respect him, and he has fixed them up, no matter how much damage they've sustained. Because of this obstinate nature, he tends not to trust most of his team, since they don't have his strength of character. He'll never let Nautilus, Lord Vile, or the rest of the team down. His loyalty can be used against him, but, given the chance, he'll rip you in two pieces if he knows it will help his team, especially if Nautilus, Lord Vile or Horrendous are threatened.
