Profile:
Takes everything seriously. The word "serious" doesn't even describe it. He is one Transformer that just seems to have no emotion. Grimstorm has no ability to understand emotion, since he thinks it's a waste of time. Doesn't even like talking, unless it relates to his next mission. "A Transformer's spark is meant to provide us with life, and that's it, emotion is a side-effect that needs to be purged", is one of the few things the Mercenaries have heard him say. The word "Grim" sums him up, since his seriousness has consumed him. He only seems to care about 3 things: The mission, making new (toxic) chemicals to give him an advantage, and ensuring the Mercenaries have a scientist they can rely on. He has designed several of his own chemical weapons that can be shot into a cloud causing a chemical rain. This can vary from disabling a limb or two of his enemies, to melting off their armor, to outright toxins that can kill anything it touches. He is consistently having Adamant upgrade his armor, so he doesn't feel the effects of his chemicals he created. When his enemies are in agony due to the chemicals he made, and he is flying above them without any pain, is the only time he'll smile (the only time he shows emotion). Most of the Mercenaries avoid him, calling him 'creepy', or 'sparkless'. Not surprising, since he can sit through an entire hour-long mission briefing without even twitching, let alone talking. He may not be the most popular, and doesn't care, since his only goal is to get the job done, and torture every Autobot he can on the way with his chemical creations.
Abilities:
Skilled, intelligent, and brave, Grimstorm has no fear when it comes to battle, or making new chemical toxin. His endurance allows him to persevere during his toxic rain, where others are suffering the effects. Adamant helps him when it's too strong of a chemical and his armor needs refitting. He is a brilliant scientist, and has knowledge of many things, from engineering, to bio-chemistry, to chemical warfare. He uses this knowledge to counter any opponent he may encounter. A skilled aerial warrior, he can shoot most Transformers out of the air in under 5 seconds, since his chemicals are contained in anything from his energy beam weapons, to his missiles, and give him a great advantage over his opponent. As a robot or helicopter, has particle beams, and missiles, all able to carry his chemical weapons for maximum effect.
Weaknesses:
The only one he cares about is Adamant, since Adamant has helped him a few times. Other than that, most of the Mercenaries don't trust him, or want to come to his aid, unless ordered. Since he rarely needs any help, this only comes up once in a blue moon, but when it does he can be overwhelmed in numbers.
