Strummer, being one of the loudest of the Autobots, was a product of Jazz and Blaster, recieving their love for music, and their love for noise. However, this only got him into problems. Without actually taking an attitude to fight Decepticons, he was never demed worthy to be an Autobot. After causing trouble in Metroplex, Optimus Prime made blaster banish Strummer form Auotobot City on Earth.
He was left to make his own way onwards, until he came accross Starscream. Starscream promised him he would be able to use his music as he wished, as long as he could use it to destroy Megatron. Starscream failed at this attempt, not being aware that Strummers power of music was not a weapon.
Megatron took Strummer under his wing as a Decepticon, also not knowing that Strummer would not use his music to fight. He trained Strummer up to be a strong, agile and powerful warrior but, when it came to the day of war, Strummer refused to leave Tripticon. When Megatron finally forced him out, he saw that it was his old friends he was fighting.
He backed away back into Tripticon, and allowed his Autobot friends to follow him. All the way through the central defenses of Tripticon he took them, into the Central 'Computer Room'. There, they managed to override Tripticon's systems and make him transform into Dinasour mode. After helping the Autobots escape again, Strummer stayed within Tripticon's head, controlling him to make him more vulnerable.
But after a while, Tripticon regained control and became a bigger threat to the Autobot's than he ever was before. Strummer decided to try his powerful use of music, and managed to tare Tripticon apart, putting him out of action BIG TIME!
The Decepticons had one massage salvage mission to carry out, which kept them busy for a long time. Whilst Optimus Prime gladly accepted Strummer back onto the Autobot team. Now Strummer uses his power of music to fight against the decepticons, and he controls his use of it, as to not cause any more trouble to his friends and allies.
