Bio: Methusalen started out his existence as an Autobot scout, with the body of a Red Sports car. Quickly climbing within the ranks he’d gained the loyalty of two close friends, Big Black Truck and Angelfyre.
On one routine scouting mission around Iacon; the team spotted the legendary Decepticon Ravage himself. Methusalen had Big Black Truck radio back to HQ and attempted to track Ravage back to where the Decepticons were in hiding. Seemingly having trailed Ravage to a dead end, Methusalen and his team attempted to capture the casseticon for interrogation. Unbeknownst to Methusalen and his team, there were far more Decepticons in the area than HQ’s intelligence had lead them to believe. Their tracking of Ravage had been a ruse, and had lead his team into a Decepticon ambush. The battle was quick and fierce, leaving Methusalen, Big Black Truck, and Burnout (a young Autobot cadet assigned to Methusalen’s squad for training) barely functioning. Lost in the battle was Methusalen’s trusted friend Angelfyre, who’d bravely faced off against some unknown Decepticon foe.
The Decepticons had obviously gathered whatever information they’d sent to discover, as they retreated after defeating Methusalen’s squad. As Methusalen lie broken on the ground, he kept thinking to himself, “Where are the others? Where’s our help?”.
After months of extensive repairs and rehabilitation, Methusalen came out a different ‘bot… Uncaring, disenchanted by the Autobot Cause, he began a plan to defect with the ever loyal Big Black Truck. Sent out on another mission under the observation of an Autobot ‘therapist’, Methusalen and Big Black Truck simply walked away from their stake-out, tearing the Autobot insignia from their arms and dropping them to the ground.
Methusalen began Hellfyre Incorporated, a small group unaffiliated with either the Decepticon OR Autobot causes, but slowly grew to embrace that of the Decepticon way of life. Approached once again by a Decepticon recruiter, Methusalen decided to accept the proposal, to the dismay of his Second-In-Command.
At the point where Megatron abandoned his purple and green tank form, Methusalen and his team acquired the body for himself, albeit without the Rail Gun and full armor components intact.
Since joining with the Decepticons, Methusalen has assembled his own squad of ‘cons that probably wouldn’t fit in anywhere else, but under his and BBT’s command, have melded Hellfyre Inc. into a squad to be reckoned with. Reinforces the beliefs of teamwork and support into his team, as he feels it is the reason for his defeat and the loss of Angelfyre.
Abilities: Methusalen’s is unaware of what abilities he has acquired with his new body, and as such has no way to access them as of yet.
Weaknesses: While his new body is stronger than his previous one, he doesn’t realize its true limitations, nor its true potential. He is uneasy around Soundwave and his minions, due to the defeat at their hands while he was still an Autobot.
