Profile: Originally formatted as an Autobot, she was friends with the charismatic Methusalen since childhood. When Methusalen entered into the Autobot Academy in Iacon, Angelfyre was deemed to be ‘too young to attend’ and was forced to wait two more years to enlist. During those two years she worked herself hard, training, studying, learning military tactics from whomever would be willing to indulge her.
When she did finally get into the academy she’d lost contact with Methusalen, saying that he’d be ‘unable to contact her for a while’ and that it was ‘military stuff’. Knowing full well that he’d ‘go places’ in the Autobot ranks, she dedicated herself to her training and took every opportunity to go above and beyond what was required of her. She was even appointed Squad Leader in her platoon by their Drill Instructor, Impact.
After graduating the academy with honors, Impact recommended her into an Advanced Scout/Recon squad. Much to her surprise (although much to the Drill Instructor’s knowledge), that unit was headed up by Methusalen himself! Impressed by her Academy records and advanced rank, he quickly ran her though her simulations and additional unit tactics. Picking them up quickly, she made a difference in the battlefield. She volunteered for every mission, stood up for every battle, and was even forcefully kicked out of Sub-level Six’s Maccadam’s Old Oil House for assaulting a group of three Decepticon’s she’d ‘overheard’ talking slag about her unit.
In a routine scouting mission many years later, Angelfyre spotted the Decepticon Ravage making his way towards the city of Iacon. Informing the rest of the squad of this, and sending a message back to Autobot Command, they began to track Ravage back to the hidden Decepticon group. Unbeknownst to them, the group of Decepticons was much larger than previously thought, and the small group was outnumbered two-to-one. Angelfyre attempted to provide as much air support as she could, but soon Skywarp and Starscream appeared had her on the defensive. She was soon grounded by the tactics and abilities that the rival Decepticon used and was surrounded by a group of ‘cons. She fought bravely, but was soon taken down by a few pinpointed blasts from Skywarp and Soundwave. She probably would have survived the ordeal to see another cycle, except Starscream took advantage of this wounded ‘bot and launched a few missiles at the crumpled form of Angelfyre as they retreated.
Not much else than a pile of slagged metal, there wasn’t much left of Angelfyre except a damaged laser core, 68% intact. Her remains were put into Extended Stasis Lock, to be sent to one of the Autobot mausoleums. When Methusalen came back online he ordered his team to retrieve Angelfyre’s remains and bring them back to their HQ and placed into a hidden Stasis Pod.
Many years after Methusalen and the team defected from the Autobot cause and formed Hellfyre Inc., Methusalen went ahead with his plan to resurrect Angelfyre from her ‘death’. He brought her Laser Core to a black market chop-shop and had a similar body created. The project was successful, but the ‘reborn’ entity was not the same “Angelfyre” that had died a decade before. She’d had to be re-taught many things; basic teachings, military strategy, team history, even parts of her own past. Even Angelfyre didn’t think of her new form to be that of ‘hers’, but of a copy… and she is a pale copy of her original form.
That does not mean that she is a crestfallen being, she has taken to her former role of Air Support with a flourish. Her new body is faster and stronger than her previous format, almost feeling as if she were an Air Superiority Fighter. She has even gone on to best the bastard Air Commander that left her shattered Autobot form lying on the ground.
Abilities: Angelfyre’s form is faster, more responsive, and more powerful than that of even Starscream’s! With her dual plasma cannons she can down two targets at once, and she is as skillful with her sword as she is with her bare hands.
Weaknesses: While in her sleep cycles, she has flashbacks of her previous ‘life’, mostly from the ‘final battle’. These images trouble her, and will sometimes lead her down a dark path- taking reckless chances in battles, seeking out the Decepticons that once tried to end her life, etc. Methusalen usually keeps her in check, as he feels it his duty to keep her in check, feeling responsible for everything that’s happened to her, but sometimes even he can’t keep an eye on her all the time…
