TECH SPEC BIO:
Bug Bite is a brilliant yet amoral scientist. He originally belonged to another dimension, on a planet called “GoBotron”. This planet was, at one time; very much like our own planet Earth. Humanoid beings lived upon it peacefully, until an unknown catastrophe (an epidemic, war, disaster?) forced the beings to adopt new bodies. Supplanting their own body parts with mechanical ones, they eventually evolved into nearly pure mechanical beings, retaining only their original brains.
A war between two factions, known as the ‘good’ Guardians and ‘evil’ Renegades; raged on for eons. Bug Bite’s technical expertise (and his unauthorized activities in the laboratory) made him a Renegade to be reckoned with. His ingenious inventions caused many a Guardian attack to fail, and cost even more enemy lives forfeit. This war was stopped only when the fate of not only their planet, but their entire universe was threatened by an extradimensional influence. Bug Bite was enlisted to an allied team of Guardians and Renegades, sent into the alternate dimension which threatened their own. Bug Bite took a new body (oddly much like his original GoBotron form) and infiltrated the ranks of the Decepticons, hoping to not only discover the source of his home universe's plight, but take calculated revenge against whom or whatever was responsible.
Bug Bite quietly allied himself with Methusalen's team after striking out on his own to find the cause of the threat to his own dimension. He servesHellfyre Inc. in multiple capacities; medic, battlefield coordinator, and 'mad' scientist. On one occasion, much to his annoyance; Methusalen directed him to assemble a working drone out of some stolen spare parts. Not deeming it worthy of his skills, he cobbled together the components using something called “Duct Tape” and called it a success. That drone would eventually become the body of Buzzbeak.
Abilities: Unlike traditional Transformers, Bug Bite’s brain resides within his chest cavity, leaving him fully functional even after massive damage has been dealt to his head. It is a secret he will not make known, even to his Decepticon ‘brethren’; should they suddenly find it handy information to take advantage of some day.
Weaknesses: Although there are protective barriers to protect his squishy parts, if something were to damage them, it would be a catastrophic blow to Bug Bite. Much like that of a human, if something happens to his brain, it would NOT have a positive effect on him. It’s not like you could just copy it over to a new laser-core and reboot the body, or could you???
