Doppler's Bio
Doppler is one of the fastest bots ever built. He moves fast enough that it actually shifts the light around him creating a red or blue shift. When operating at this speed, Doppler is nearly impossible to hit and has been known to take on an entire squad of Decepticons by himself. The drawback is that he is unable to maintain this speed for a long period of time without severely draining his energy.
He was kicked out of the Autobot special forces shortly after one such instance. On a mission that required his particular skill set Doppler jumped the gun. He got through the initial Decepticon ranks and had already managed to reach his designated target before his team was ready. This alerted the Decepticons and left him cut off from the others. His team barely was able to haul him out before he went into permanent stasis lock. He was deemed to be unreliable and given a dishonorable discharge.
Lock and Load, his former drill sergeant, came to visit him the next time he was on Cybertron. Doppler had matured a great deal, and Lock and Load saw the potential he had once seen in Doppler return. Still unwelcome in the official Autobot ranks, Doppler signed on with the Cleanup Crew. The only thing he cares about more than earning his respect back, is never failing his team again. His enhanced speed also carries with it the ability to process information at an incredible rate. This has made him invaluable as the teams lead information tech.
