Wind Vane's Bio
Wind Vane was part of an elite Maximal team sent back to Earth by Optimus Primal after the first Beast Wars. On earth, he was a high ranking member of an elite 6-bot strike force designed to protect humanity and the course of history from Decepticon and Predacon attack. His team, however, found themselves caught deep inside a Decepticon stronghold off the southern east coast of North America trying to gather intel about the locations of Swindle and Black Shadow. The mission was unsuccessful as the Decepticon forces new they were coming. After failed attempts to extract the team, they were considered expendable and left for dead.
But, against all odds, Wind Vane managed to escape the island with the loss of his left arm and his five comrades. After that, Wind Vane was put in charge of training new Autobot recruits and strategizing attacks rather than leading the front lines. That is, until a message was delivered to him personally by Optimus Prime.
Wind Vane now stands as the leader of a new strike team, The Defenders. Wind Vane decided to change his eagle alt form and now transforms into a semi-truck to better accomodate this new foreign terrain. He was given a trailer by Prime himself as an award for his war efforts and his unwavering bravery. Wind Vane now leads his rather inexperienced team with a strong hand. His words are fierce and blunt, but full of passion and hope. Wind Vane is a leader of few words, choosing to teach with his actions. The Defenders stand behind him with their sparks and unwavering loyalty.
