The box art is terrible, especially compared to last year's. Last year's box art looked like the Botcon 2002 Expanded Universe exclusives, like cyclonus. It had a full spread detailing each character's unique atheistic, and made for a badass poster. This is not impressive, it's lazy. It might as well have the stock photography for their wanted posters. Also the perspective doesn't work either, considering it just looks like someone was using a box as an impromptu coffee table. If they really wanted to make it wanted posters, they should've made the print a scene, rather than a top down perspective. Something like this.

Usually, the Golden Ticket pin is just a gold version of the 1st day pin. This year, the GT pin is it's OWN unique pin.

I'm not a fan... I find it boring, just like the contents inside of it. This may go up there with '07 and '09 as one of their "bad" sets for me

Aw. I loved the 2007 set with the missing seeker jets Thrust, Dirge, Thundercracker.... plus Bug Bite, Huffer, Dreadwind, Alpha Trion... That was some good stuff.
But agreed... in spite of the coolness of getting some new characters, 2009 is probably my least favorite out of the box sets. I think Elita 1 and Banzai-Tron were the real winners out of that year... though the Scourge head sculpt is still probably the best we've gotten to date. That was excellent work.

Pull out your salt shaker, because you'll be needing a grain or two when you enter RUMOR Town. Seibertronian prjkt has informed us that online retailer Chimungmung Toy Shop has listed a never before seen Black version of Generations Skids! The deco is very reminiscent of one of his Pre-Transformers "Diaclone" variations, and given the company he keeps (G2 General Optimus Prime also listed this morning) it's possible that he is another Botcon 2015 Attendee Exclusive. But remember, we are still in RUMOR Town and details are minimal non-existent so keep that salt handy. Seibertron.com will keep you updated, so stay tuned!
