Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, Shiningstar7896, has let us know that InDemandToys have dropped a brand new toy reveal on their Facebook account.

Presenting 'Buzzworthy' Bumblebee. This two pack contains Bumblebee and Spike in his exo-suit from the 1986 Transformers movie. Judging from the photos, bee appears Core Class sized while Spike looks to be slightly bigger then Titan/Prime masters sized. This is being sold under the War for Cybertron Trilogy line, though no word on price or if it will be an exclusive of some kind.

As much as I like that Spike in exosuit, damn that Bee alt mode is just ugly.

It's got the WFCT logo and Kingdom packaging color scheme... but no Kingdom logo. Weird.

I think I'm good enough with WFC Netflix Bee.

Wondering if it would work better painted up as a throttle bot. Fortunately already have Spike and Daniel titan masters so I can skip on this

The scrunched up look of the muscle car altmode gives it a striking resemblance to Bumper's altmode.

Seeing Spike in there makes me feel this was intended for the 86 Studio Series then it got shifted to War for Cybertron.

Doubtful as the bee alt mode is way too different to swing for the movie version, plus it doesn't look a great deal for a ss deluxe price point :-? No, i think this was always intended for this side of Generations, the same with Earth Mode Magnus and Galvatron et al. The movie's Anniversary is getting spread across two lines (while beast wars only gets 1).

Still, wasn't someone else wanting more characters in the core class size *assuming that it is of course*

Kinda hope that isn't the rumoured Daniel figure with Slug in SS86. I'm not exactly rushing to get a new Bee (I've amassed a glut of them just by accident) and it looks like they started with TR Bee when engineering this one (and I hate TR Bee).

What a strange reveal though, I don't think this was even rumoured. It doesn't fall into any toyline neatly and seems a bit like a SS86 release that got shifted after they realised it's the only one of its kind.

Probably not, SS starts at the Deluxe size class. The only viable way to design something that small for SS would be to put it together with another figure. But more that that, Bee really wasn't a major player at all in TFTM, so making a SS86 figure for him doesn't make much sense and this one is horribly inaccurate to the on screen appearance which is SS whole thing.

More likely this is something they wanted to do for the new core class but didn't have a great fit for it anywhere.

Exactly, also regarding Daniel with Slag, I do find it weird that spikes face here is completely silver, but at thecsame time, ill be surprised is the Daniel figure is a re-release of this Spike. Though I suppose we will see when pictures if Slag are made available.

I want that Spike figure. Maybe two if the figure with Slag is just a figurine like Wheelie is with Grimmie.

Oh, he comes with a Bumblebee accessory. It's okay, but it would have been better as a faux bug like the Classics version.

This does not look even remotely like the rest of the Studio Series figures. Just because they're movie characters doesn't mean they have any relationship to that line.

I think the TR Arcee Daniel headmaster is a better stand-in for the exosuit, even though it doesn't transform to a car. This appears to have even less articulation than that.

Did the SS rumors specify if that Daniel is in an exosuit or transformable? After the Wheelie reveal, I'm anticipating something with a better deco but fewer play features.

Meh, the Netflix Bumblebee is definitely better looking, and even if I didn’t already have him I’d’ve stuck with Titans Return Bee. This one doesn’t look good at all. Would really only want Spike and even then it’s a hard maybe. Though I wonder if they’ll do similar standalone sets. :-?

I'm sure Hasbro doesn't want to pay out a licensing fee on a small set like this one.

Why does it's packaging look like a mix of Kingdom and Bumblebee movie stuff with the Cyberverse/Evergreen head design? That's such a weird combination.

Well, people were asking and speculating about Bee's presence on the Kingdom poster, so I guess here he is. Definitely not for me though.

Having just watched that over the weekend, it was "A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one", but yours was funnier anyway.

Yeah, I didn't feel like actually recalling the line. I've got brain fog today.

Also, I guess I didn't 100% mean it. I kind of want the Spike, but knowing Daniel is in the offing it's going to come down to a choice as to what would get displayed. I imagine it won't be too long before we start seeing Slag stolen toy reviews, so we'll just have to see.

Except your logic for why this isn't tracks perfectly for why it could be. This looks like the same size Bee as Titans Retirn, that means this is a $10 figure that includes an additional blaster and a crude but Transformable Exosuit that I am bettong is roughly the same size as a Human Alliance Figure. That puts it close enough in the budget range for a $20 pricepoint which is exactly the Deluxe class Cost Studio Series would be wanting.

Disclaimer: I don't think this is either because the Bee asthetic is all wrong and the packaging does not match. I am betting Target Exclusive. Maybe the game store guys
