Tuesday, we were teased with information about this set being mainly Autobot based...
"
OK, while we are working on finalizing the convention details, brochure and registration forms, we wanted to start the speculation game:
"For one young Autobot..." is all we have revealed so far. While we tend to guard the convention sets and souvenirs closely, I want to let you know that we are very excited about what we have waiting in the wings!
The set we have planned features a team of select Autobots never before featured in G1 in this way. The timeline we are spotlighting is new, yet very familiar...
Let the games begin!"
Now more news from thus same thread, this time Pete Sinclair (who happens to participate in our very own Official Question And Answers Thread for the club) adds his two cents...
"Far be it from me to wreck your all's ideas. I just know that this year's set is going to rule!"
Perhaps, you might want to start questioning Pete on our Q/A pages for the club, to see if he might reveal something more.
Check out the official Transformers Collector's Club!!!
Speculate based on this new information below.

Loki God Of Mischief wrote:Wreck and Rule is the battle cry of the Wreckers. So the question is what era? Will it be Classics Wreckers, Universe Wreckers, Animooted Wreckers or Shattered Glass Wreckers?
It'll be called Time Lines like the rest of the Botcon stuff. But I think it's a safe bet it will fit nicely in the Universe line.
Here's hoping we finally get a remould of Tidal Wave into Broadside! I know for a fact were getting that Elita-1 mould from 06.

It does seem strange they would be making these guys now though as Springer and Roadbuster were only released a while ago
also I don't see how this relates to the 'for one young autobot' clue
one thing I do know for sure is its going to cost an arm a leg to buy a set from over here

They used E-megs last year and he's just as big. Besides, the Tidal Wave mould can break down into three smaller units.

We won't see Springer for 2 reasons: He was just released at retail this November, and two years ago, he was featured in the Games of Deception set (as an attendee-only figure). Same with Roadbuster. Rack-n-Ruin is almost impossible to produce as a toy, so I figure he's out, as well (though I did see a clever take on him by someone who parts-swapped a pair of the cranes from the Energon Constructicons).
That leaves Impactor, Topspin, Twintwist, Whirl, Broadside, Sandstorm, and possibly Ultra Magnus. Given that the set is probably going to include Elita One and some Decepticons, I'm going to guess the following:
Impactor from Beast Machines Tankor (with resculpted head)
Twin Twist from Armada Demolisher (with resculpted missiles to look like drills)
Topspin from Cybertron Buzzsaw (with resculpted head)
Bombshell from Energon Insecticon
Battle-damaged Sunstorm from Energon Starscream
Added figures:
Whirl from Energon Bulkhead
Sandstorm from Cybertron Buzzsaw (same mold as Topspin)
Elita One from Cybertron Thunderblast
Broadside from Armada Tidal Wave (with resculpted head)

Cliffjumper Prime wrote:what a coincidence! I was just casting the wreckers... I picked tidal wave for broadside too (obviously), energon cliffjumper for sandstorm (same car modes), the helicopter from the bruticus set as whirl (I know, they've used it a lot but its perfect... or energon bulkhead), energon jetfire for topspin (kinda big, but the only one I thought would work) and the one I hope for the MOST..... armada/energon demolisher as twin twist!!! I can't believe they haven't done him yet! if I get a chance I'll post some digibashes I did
Sounds good, looking forward to seeing those
Also, Welcome to Seibertron!

Did they not use the voyger class figure?

Nevermore wrote:So wait a sec who or what are the Wreckers?
Wreckers were an Elite group of Autobots led by Ultra Magnus/Impactor/Springer (I could never keep track ) Other members included
Rack n' Ruin (two headed, non-transformable)
Top Spin
Twin Twist
Whirl
Roadbuster
Sandstorm
Broadside
Impactor & RnR never received actual figures, so I'm guessing this year they will. Even if Rack AND Ruin are separate figures (Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mould)

they consist of:
Impactor- Leader, but soon dies and
Springer - becomes leader
Broadside
Sandstorm
Top Spin
Twin Twist
