So I went to TRU Times Square last night and they have one Sunstorm left and it was $92.99 and since they pull the listing they won't price match to a screenshot I had on my phone... Whatever! I left it box was not in the best condition anyway.
Was thinking of picking it up today but might as well get it shipped to me its free anyway and hopefully better box.
Oh and no way am I buying that prowl for 70 bucks... got mine from Takara a year ago for $50...

I took a coffee break at 10 on Monday (I work around the corner in Rock Center) to see if they had either MP, and it seems I had first go at the pile of Sunstorms. Only 2 of the boxes were dent-less or crushed-corner-less, and I grabbed both...
Well, looks like I need to take a screenshot and bring the receipt back for a price match!

YOu shouldn't need a Screen shot anymore since it's on their website, and if they take it down your screen shot won't matter.

Depends on the people working at guest services. Some will say no, some will say yes. Most feel they're not paid enough to care about these things. Doesn't hurt to give it a shot, especially when the screen shot is dated in my email.

I'm glad you like S**tstorm's colors. I never liked anything bright yellow mixing with brown... yuck.

wow, that prowl almost cost as much as the takara version... wtf is wrong with toysrus? I got the takara version day one, and im glad I did... I live in the usa, and hasbros figures are sometims shotty....

Went ahead and ordered Prowl as an uber-late birthday gift. It'll be nice to have a Masterpiece that isn't a flatnosed truck or a Seeker.

I never feel good about buying from TRU. If it wasn't for MP exclusives I would never shop there. Purchased Sunstorm only.

If I didn't already have the Takara Sunstorm and Prowl, these might be tempting. As it is, Sunstorm's colors are too off putting....too bright a yellow, with that red....McDonald's Sunstorm. I might have been able to look past that if his head and other accent color was black instead of diarrhea brown. The flame paintjob on Hasbro's jet mode is cooler, but Takara's is a classier color scheme all around.
And I'm glad I paid a little more for Takara's Prowl. It was only about $10 more than Hasbro Prowl, and I've had him for close to a year now. Plus, his box is MUCH easier to store than Hasbro's.

Yep, that's great! I can get a Takara one right now for $60 too. Either way TRU isn't gonna get my money. Charging more than Takara is highway robbery.

There's a difference between being a collector and being someone who wants "stuff"
A collector will save up and buy the legitimate product. Someone who wants the look of a real product, but doesn't want to actually pay for it, will go for the "stuff". If buying knock-offs makes you happy, then that's your thing, but it's completely unnecessary to make fun of those who choose to collect the legitimate merchandise.
