Is it just me, or does that look weirdly out of scale with... itself...?

For how much this'll cost and what it comes with, you may as well buy Takara's MP-10
Re: Imaginarium Art Licensed Transformers Optimus Prime

A person that can afford one of these most certainly would already have MP-10 or at least have passed over that option. People don't usually buy statues as an alternative to figures (though the opposite may be true doe to the price). They usually buy them as a display piece with better detailing and paint.

That's a fair point. I'd love to be on that upper echelon of TF collecting. Everything else aside the statue does looks amazing, something for MPs to strive for perhaps, ha. This is just a statue and has no articulation right?

Via their official Facebook page, Imaginarium Art bring us images of their licensed statue of Decepticon communications officer Soundwave! Complete with Rumble, Ravage and Laserbeak - but also exclusives Ratbat and Frenzy - we also get to see the various accessories, the base, and some close-ups of what looks to be an excellent final product. Check it out below!

If you're going to include that many bits just to change poses, why not just make an action figure?

They've got the description for the concussion blaster and rocket launcher mixed up in the diagram.

Starscream is the treacherous Decepticon Air Commander and the deadliest of the Seekers. The self-proclaimed pride of the Cybertron War Academy, he's famous not only for his incredible skill, but also for his limitless (and troublesome) ambition. Starscream believes that he is more suited for command than Decepticon leader Megatron. Thankfully for Megatron, Starscream's mutinous, power-grabbing plots are almost always transparent, and he can never muster up enough patience to complete a grandiose power play. Even on the few times he has taken command of the Decepticons, he quickly loses control of a situation, but is too arrogant to realize when he's in over his head. He never learns from his mistakes, but then again, Megatron doesn't either, seeing as how he's never turned Starscream into slag. Despite his constant failures, Starscream believes it is only a matter of time before he prevails—his destiny is inevitable.
Starscream's never-give-up attitude extends even to the afterlife: unlike most Transformers, he has a mutant, indestructible spark. His life-force cannot be destroyed and can persist even without a body to contain it. However, there is no indication that Starscream (or anybody else) was aware of this fact prior to his destruction.

No one can convince me this isn't a slight Game of Thrones reference.

Rather pricey, but I preordered it. I want a centre piece.
