Major Ordering Issues Being Experienced with Walmart for Exclusive G1 Transformers Reissues

The plot thickens. Both orders of SS, including the one that is supposedly delayed, has shipped. I should have 4 G1 SS by Friday. Thankfully I'll be near a Walmart this weekend to return 3.

just keep sending and selling in stores sheesh

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Maybe due to the great response from fans, their (Wallmart's systems) can't handle the load?

Lesson learned Wallmart, allocate more resources for Transformers G1 related orders!

For what it's worth, Hot Rod is listed as in stock. Don't know if that helps anyone.

I'm a first time poster as well. I bought devastator on august 15th and when I woke up (I am a night owl so I wake up in the afternoon) I looked in my emails, at 6:38 am I was told my devastator was cancelled due to it being out of stock. I also use Nowinstock.com and I got an email from them at exactly 6:38 am as well (No joke) and it said devastator was in stock! I was so mad when I looked at my emails! I received my Starscream days ago. I also bought bumblebee and swerve and I'm now wondering if I'm going to have to hunt them down every hour I am supposed to sleep, again. I live in Washington state, so I have to fight the scalpers that are on the east side. I'm torturing myself some more I guess! I contacted Walmart and they said that they would put me down for a email notification, but I told them I already tried that from the website and the guy said "don't worry, you will get it". Guy also gave me a 10$ promo for my next purchase. I also want to note that whenever I got the email and text alerts from nowinstock on the dot I checked walmart and almost each time the stock said "almost out of stock 3 left" or so. I hope we all get our beloved transfomers!

Or maybe there wasn't a lot of stock to begin with. I can imagine the idea with these being that they would be on shelves when the Bumblebee movie hits, meaning that more stock would be incoming. Though only those with Walmarts will get this honour (doesn't bother me, I think the reissues are over priced for what they are compared to toys of the same price now... But that's just my view If others want them, then go get them)

A funny thought though, obviously g1 starscream has no knees... Cyberverse warrior starscream has no knees...No matter how much changes, somethings remain the same

Devestator ordered on the 8th is preparing to ship.

My Devastator order got cancelled even when an agent promised me that it wouldn't. I contacted an agent again yesterday and they said they couldn't do anything about it. I hate everything about WalMart.

Walmart has been wildly inconsistent with this whole process but there are a number of things they are consistent in. 1) When an order is cancelled, there is nothing they can do. 2) In general, there is nothing they can do.

I did receive my HOT ROD with no issue and just received my STARSCREAM. Starscream was actually ordered with DEVASTATOR but they only shipped Starscream and then I got the email stating Devastator was cancelled. I have all of the minibots on preorder but no update as to whether or not I will be getting them for sure yet.

This surprises people Walmart is famous for never having things in stock and never know if and when it be back in stock hate shopping at Walmart for certain stuff

I literally just got my shipping confirmation for Starscream this morning. That isn't to say there won't be a stock issue there (though that one didn't have the sellouts the others did), but that one is at least finally on the way.

Just ordered devastator again, had plenty in stock! refreshed the page to see how quickly it would sell out, it took a few tries for it to simply say out of stock. I am hoping this time I will receive him!

My Hot Rod ran into the shipped/ non shipped ether for a while, 2 weeks ago. Got it straightened out with Customer Service. I have a Swerve on delayed order, its been 2 weeks now. SScream was ordered a week and change after Swerve and is shipping to my house within a day or 2. None of this makes sense but i shouldn't be surprised.

So I posted yesterday about being one of the first to preorder Devastator (my email is also referenced in the news item). Devastator was canceled yesterday but after reading other people's stories I signed up with Nowinstock.com and got the notification this morning that Devastator is in stock. So I've ordered him once again. I guess we'll see?

This is not unheard by Walmart standards, by the way. They took a ton of preorders awhile back for the SNES Classic Edition and infamously canceled them all. When I say this is typical Walmart service, I really mean it. I've also written an email to Hasbro customer support asking them to please deal with a better retailer for exclusives in the future. Can't hurt.

Save yourself from hitting F5 all day. Plus, it went in stock yesterday morning and this morning. Might be a morning thing. Use this instead:

So I just got a second "order Delayed" email from Walfart in regards to my Starscream order.
But it states the new delivery estimate (to a store location) for the Fri. the 31st.

We'll see what happens. Either it will coe through or the next thing is cancelation.

That's good you are getting some of your transformers! I hope you get your Tailgate and Outback, I haven't been able to get the chance to order those two yet.

Lots of people at other tf fan sites are reporting their minibot orders being cancelled

Literally just got Bee cancelled. Walmart is the absolute worst for exclusives.

Walmart is THE WORST online place to order your toys. Don’t know how many of my orders they messed over the years. Haven’t ordered anything from them the last few years

So at least in my case, the orders are shipping. Walmart has been shipping all my late orders overnight and interestingly from Canada. So they are at least trying to make good. I have 2 Starscreams arriving today(I’m returning one as I ordered it when I thought my first was cancelled.) and Bumblebee will arrive tomorrow. Dunno about the other mini bots I ordered. So will see.

Just got an email from WM that my BUMBLEBEE and my TAILGATE shipped so it looks like it's sporadic which ones they have and don't.

Are you sure they are shipping from Canada and not from their shipping centre located in Ontario, California (CA)?

Because I'm the dumb, I just ordered Starscream again when it was back in stock this morning.


At least the turnaround time is next Thursday!!

Just got the damn e-mail from Fartmart that they "are having problems locating Swerve" If they can not deliver the item by Sat Sept 1st, they will cancel the order and refund the money.

Don't you think that it's a bit presumptuous that they think, that I think, that if it can't be delivered on time I don't want it? I never said that.

I don't understand their wording, or their logic.

Oh wait! It's Walmart. I guess I'm being presumptuous thinking they prescribe to logic. SILLY ME!

EDIT: Just got the same email for Tailgate. My account does show Starscream has shipped though.

My Bumblebee is preparing to ship, so I'm excited about that! I ordered devastator yesterday morning, and the bar was filled a bit more than my Swerve was and said preparing order. Well, the bar went back to being less filled, but still says preparing order. I'm worried about that. Has anyone else experienced this?

Got my Screamer in today; Swerve is still in shipment ether.

@SSound; it happened with my Hot Rod order. I got on it before i could get an email from WM and had them push the order through. It took some cajoling but it got done, finally.

I used to be when Target was more expensive and Walmart generally had the stock. And now it's backwards

That's sort of like when TRU would start a pre-order two months early and then cancel it after 30 days per their policy because they assumed you wouldn't still want it or found it somewhere else even though it's their own exclusive. Meanwhile I've currently got pre-orders out in Japan for April 2019. Collectors aren't as impatient as soccer moms trying to save 10 cents on Froot Loops, Walmart!

No one was home so I had to schlep it to FedEx to pick up my Devy. So far so good. For those that have it, a question. Is Hook a floppy mess? On mine, the middle piece that you have to pull apart to transform him doesn't really stay in place. Literally, gravity is enough to separate him.
