That is, if Hasbro makes one too. I can't afford most of the Takara figures The only Takara TFs I own are Liger Jack and Flame Convoy.

well i cant speak for megatron but prime and starscream arent show acurate sizes, i mean they're more or less the same height in the cartoon and yet the toys make starscream a midget..lol

so i wouldnt hold out hope..lol

but hmmmm....i'm surprised they didnt pick soundwave to be the next MP, seemed they were going that route but hey, least it isnt some crappy character from one of the other series..lol

Looks like I'm gonna be clearing some more shelf space. This has 15 levels of cool written all over it.

You know, besides all the fan demand, I almost feel as if there could have been a better choice of a character for the next masterpiece, but that doesn’t mean I wont gladly accept a MP Grimy into my collection.

Without having to relate it to an actual item, they realy have no limits to the amount of detail they can add!

Though I love Grimlock I've passed onb every Masterpiece so far due to inane prices, so I'll pass on this as well.

Gotta say, I'm glad it's big Grim. I actually collect transforming G1-inspired dino versions of this guy so this toy is a ust for me!

Besides, haven't we been speculating this for some time now? Its at least cool to have it confirmed- now all that's left is for us to worry if it'll be released internationally or not (half joking, but I wouldn't be too surprised...)

from my imagination of him in masterpiece form, it will look simply amazing

I'm just concerned that we might run into problems with rust and breaking parts like we did with MP Megatron whom I still haven't opened due to those concerns.

No, but he could be repainted two times (blue and turqoise) + if the first version will be not even closely relative to the original + I can believe there will be the matt grey and the metallic version + the battle damage version of Hasbro...

No offense, but who really didn't see this coming? Him Grimlock a big fan favorite & will be part of me Jazz's collection when him Grimlock released

It's cool that we are getting a Dinobot as a Masterpiece, but seriously, the original toy is already show accurate. I would really been pleased with something else.

I can't wait to get another masterpiece!!!!

Just hope they don't mess his colors up on the first run like poor Starscream...

I have all the MP figures so far, and Grimlock as No. 6, I just can't f'ing wait!

If Grimlock is even 50% as great as the past masterpieces are (No, i didn't have any rust problems with megs), this will be a fantastic figure.

I can't image what sweet stuff they will improve on from the original!

The only thing I would imagine they could improve on would be the size & the articulation. I mean, if they want him show accurate, there's not much they'd be able to do with his transformation, so better articulation would just about be the only other thing they could do.

yeah for real, I visited my favorite toy shop and the guy told me this was confirmed and next afterwards was Thundercracker. I was in shock so when I got home I checked out Seibertron and BAM there it was Grimlock for the next MP =].

But you dont have to buy them , you can trade stuff for them , that how i got all of mine except for Megs and Prime.

They have somewhat of a pattern going by having a new mold followed by a repaint/remold. Thundercracker will probably have a new face gimmick by Skywarp.

Not to rain on anyones parade, but don't forget the last hot and really, really true "news" coming from that source. (Though that one was probably a misinterpretation, there is a red Starscream (Toshiba) after all, and Megatron and Optimus were rereleased at the same time as complete versions, just in the Revoltech line.)

I find it a bit weird, that a Chinese site posts something looking like an excerpt from a Japanese magazine, without giving the source or us having seen further pictures from that magazine (some people are bound to have what ever magazine that's supposed to be).
The text next to the picture doesn't mention Transformers even once, it goes on and on about Gundam.

I for my part will wait for something a bit more official.
