Fellow Seibertronian robotmel shared robotkingdom's Facebook page, and on this page robotkingdom posted images of the transformation steps used by Masterpiece Ultra Magnus. It's not quite what you were expecting and has a few tricks and surprises up it's sleeve. Literally.

can wait for this guy...

though I would've liked a voice module with some choice quotes from the movie "i can't deal with that right now..."

his head scalp sucks..........

though he is cartoon accurate, hes way too chunky. Not takara finest moment in the mp line.

Not sure what the issue us with his scalp, but the sculpt looks good....JK
Looking forward to this guy and the surprise international shipping rate form AE. He looks big and heavy.

always loved ultra magnus.. as a toy he was the one I wanted most after grapple but perhaps I was also a bit disappointed with him due to the shit articulation. At least you could roll him about and had good interaction with the other vehicles. I never bothered with an original prime toy cos the white cab satiated my need to own that mould. The other big disappointment was that I looked forward to returning to play with him after a holiday abroad and found him seriously yellowed on my return.

So what next for the mp line? I was really enjoying the original ark brigade releases and hope they continue. Wish they'd work on some decepticons - galvatron needs love.
