This appears to be how ROTF Bumblebee will get its regular release, compared to the others which are all repackaged re-releases. The packaging is adorned with different incarnations of the character, none of which are representive of these figures at all.

There still has not been any official word from Hasbro regarding this line.

Is this their way to try and sell product that didn't sell originally? Just put them in a different box... >:oP

I'm sure it will be fine. Bumblebee is a very popular character. It's not like they over did it before, and it stung them in the ass. Once they're released I'm sure we'll all be feeling the buzz!

Awesome, sign me up on that ROTF Bee! I figured it would release late next year at the earliest, so I’m glad to see it appears to be releasing sooner.

Did that ROTF BB toy not have a regular release? What's the difference with the previous release of that mold?

Technically, since it is #74 and #72 Bumblebee Starscream is barely up for pre-order, this is the first release, no?

What's the difference between this and ss49 mold wise?

Oh, I didn't realize this had been released as SS49. I was going by the numbers on the new boxes and the fact that the other three had their original entry numbers, I assumed this was new. I guess the inclusion of the Sam figure warrants a number change?

All good points though I do wonder what the difference is between that bee mold and ss49.

Plus, they updated the vehicle to the 2010 concept, while #49 has the 2008 one from the first movie.

The grill, hood, and side panels with the tires have been remolded for the ROTF version of the Camaro. The yellow color is more orange-ish and accurate, and the gray of the original figure has been replaced with a lighter gray.

The horse is dead, dismembered, rotting, diseased, mostly decomposed, and Hasbro is still beating it...

Please make it stop.

Well Thew did say in a recent video that we wouldn't have gotten titan scorponok without selling a few bumblebee's but I didn't think hasbro would take it this far :HEADHURTS:

You gotta keep in mind that Bumblebee was the horse that drew the movie's carriage, plus the movie also serves as a motor vehicle advertisement, mostly from GE. As such, Bumblebee has no less than 10(!) vehicle modes total, one for every Camaro model year featured throughout the 5 main movies (at least 7!), his Cybertronian modes, WWII and Beetle. And they all need to be represented at least once.

Thanks for the breakdown, I had not caught that (granted, not much of a car guy).

You say that but the best selling tf toy of 2017 was this bumblebee figure below, a poor redeco of an older Bumblebee mold, which actually sold out at initial retail even though fans mostly ignored it AND prices had gone up by 33% globally.

While I am happy to see some re-releases here, and I am very happy at the chance to get Charlie and Sam in SS scale, I wish they had painted the 76 Camaro Bee instead of leaving it plain like the garage set without all the extra options.

Man, I regret missing that garage set. I should have gotten it dammit.

Well, I will get the RotF Bee and 76 Camaro bee, unless I somehow get Charlies garage then I'll just get RotF Bee

The important part is they included a small Sam Whitwicki that you can have transformers step on and smash. :-D
