Crap...my poor poor wallet... #-o

Seriously, I was not even planning on getting Bludgeon after that first blurry pic, but that guy is beyond awesome. Mindwipe, Brawn, Movie Lockdown (talk about a random choice), Dirge, Animated Blackout...HA BARRICADE! Geez, I better start saving now.

Any release dates attached to these figures?

Suweet, news credit.

It seemed like all the non-animated guys were under the ROTF banner, but quite a few of them look very Classics Universe.

Brawn looks especially awesome to me.

2010's going to be another expensive year!

Movie Bludgeon and Lockdown look amazing, and Animated Jetpack prime is a must purchase, considering I have no animated prime yet. Though, I must say, Bludgeon's Skull face looks a bit off , but it is a blurry photo of a projected image.

Wingblade Prime and Movie Lockdown makes me happy.

All the Movie guys...Ratchet...Lockdown...Dirge...Mindwipe...

note to self: delete movie mindwipe story. :)

I want clearer pics of that Brawn...I'm hoping he looks more Classics-like in better pics, because I would love a classics Brawn that isn't horridly unpossable.

Is there any chance that OP's Wingblade thing will be sold separately to attach to the existing Voyager OP? Probably not, but it would be nice.
Re: New Transformers products from SDCC! (960397)

Those all are very awesome, I can hear my wallet now crying to it's self. Kind of sad that there was no images of Leader Class starscream but the rest of that awesome made up for it.

Movie Alliance Barricade with Frenzy in place of a human? I'm all over that one!

Bludgeon looks amazing, I can forgive the orange patches that show up in tank mode because that robot mode is groovy.

Mindwipe looks awesome, there need to be MORE Decepticon jets in the movie line!

Lockdown is an interesting choice to put into the ROTF line but I like it. He was actually one of the only animated toys I was thinking of getting, but now screw that! I'll go for this one!

Scattershot I'm not sure about, looks movie but it might be Universe.

Skystalker is pretty sweet looking right there, hope that's a Decepticon figure.

Dirge's vehicle mode looks like one of those playskool transformers, but his robot mode is great. Also, is it me or does his head desighn look like the Fallen's head design?

That new Ratchet mold is sweet looking. The big gun on it looks out of place on him, but the fact that he's delux and seems to have a good transformation is going to make him a must-buy for me.

I was just making a fuss about the Stockaid mold being used for Gears rather than Brawn in another thread, but that new mold is MUCH better looking!

I might actually have to get Animated Blackout, just cause Blackout is awesome.

I am so glad that I'll have money next year, just hope it's enough for these! O_o

Not likely considering the Wingblade OP is Deluxe Sized.

The Only reason the set is Voyager classed is because of the extra plastic from the wing blade Accessory.

But if you look closely, its the Deluxe Sized OP, without the black battle damage.

anyway, Lots of cool things there.

Loving Bludgeon.
Lockdown was a weird thing to transfer over from Animated, but he looks pretty cool. Though I'm sure he's not a licensed Chevy vehicle
in any way.

Brawn is pretty cool.

Loving Mindwipe and Scattorshot.

But I'm really intrigued by DELUXE Ratchet. With a gun even.

Bludgeon and Lockdown are definite buys for me. I dont really care for the movie line of figures but these two look like they could fit in with the classics line....
Re: New Transformers products from SDCC! (960407)
Posted by what0080 on July 23rd, 2009 @ 4:29pm CDT
Three words could describe my enthusiasm for this lineup... 1) Human. 2) Alliance. 3) Barricade. That just made the pretty good Deluxe-class mold look ugly. With Frenzy too? There goes another $50, unless Amazon sells him cheaper...

wingblade prime's mold very much looks like the deluxe batle begins prime...i could be wrong but, looks to me it's the same mold only with added armor and accessories? hmmm :-?

Lots of new stuff! My poor wallet. Lockdown and Rachet are a pass same for most of the aniametd stuff, maybe Prime sence the armor can combine with the voyager too. Blackout is a maybe also. Mindswipe looks cool along with Dirge. Blugie is a def buy same for Brawn and HA Barricade. I'm suprised they named the last bike Flareup it's kinda a shame they won't combine. And why the hell didn't anyone ask about the rest of the constructacons!??!
Re: New Transformers products from SDCC! (960419)

MindWipe and SkyStalker look fantastic. Brawn reminds me of Dropkick and Salvage a little, with some Armada Demolisher thrown in for kicks. I like him.

I think i've died and gone to heaven!!!! I must have Bludgeon, Barricade, Mindwipe, Dirge & Scattershot. Probably get Blackout & Lockdown too but the rest I can live without. BUT NEED BLUDGEON NOW!!!!!

Actually, according to Tformers' coverage of the session, Hasbro says the extra pieces from Wingblade OP will have the ability to attach to the Voyager class figure. Which is reason enough for me to get it, IMO. But they won't be sold separately, obviously, so you'll have to buy Wingblade Prime to get the parts.

One thing I just realized I'm really happy about, is that they seem to have abandoned the Ultra class for the time being. Good riddance I say, I'm not interested in paying $10 extra for lights and sounds in a poorly-transforming, poorly-articulated Voyager-sized toy.

That's a lot of cool stuff, I think I want all of it. A nice variety.

Oy, this I don't need.

OMFG! Bludgeon is AWESOME , I hope Hasbro doesn't mess him up.
Dirge, Blackout, freaking Lockdown!!, Wingblade Optimus Prime, Mindwipe, Brawn (oMG!!! BRAWN!!!), LOL even Cybetron Scattershot gets a new scout toy!! and Skystalker doesn't look bad either.
All of them are a must buy for me, except for the scouts I'll think about them later.
Human alliance barricade looks cool but he should had been partnered with Alice and deluxe Ratchet looks amazing but he's not in scale with anyone and I already have the voyager toy so I don't know what to think about this ones.
Re: New Transformers products from SDCC! (960435)

Bludgeon looks SICK.. I wish he had his pretender shell.. But In all honesty (IMHO) his bot mode kicks ass (so far)..
Re: New Transformers products from SDCC! (960437)
Posted by kirbenvost on July 23rd, 2009 @ 5:37pm CDT
Same here, most of these toys are almost must-buys for me. A few I'm not big on, but most of them are awesome. Funny how SDCC has more cool stuff revealed than Botcon. :p

I'm also not sure about the Deluxe Movie Ratchet. While it looks pretty cool, I also already have the Voyager one (in 2 decos even), so this will have to be REALLY awesome to warrant a purchase.
Re: New Transformers products from SDCC! (960438)
Posted by Tyrannotaur on July 23rd, 2009 @ 5:38pm CDT

Ah so the third Acree bike is called Flareup. Huh. Interesting name. I wish someone would have asked about a Scrapper and/or Overload Voyager or deluxe. Or at least a better Grindor..

Lots of cool new stuff. I love that they took my idea of the military reaper drone and used it. About time. I will probably get most of these ROTF figures. I need clearer pictures though. I don't bother with Animated, but Blackout looks awesome.
Human Alliance Barricade I will buy as soon as I see him. Awesome.
Lots of cool stuff coming out in the next few months.

That Bludgeon is a movie toy I might just have to buy, especially if they made his head reminiscent of a skull. In fact, I'll buy it anyway because I'm sure some company will make an upgrade kit for that.

HINT HINT: I SAID I'M SURE SOME COMPANY WILL MAKE AN UPGRADE KIT FOR THAT!!!

Damn, Brakedown is so SEXY (in the correct way), I'll probably have to buy Wasp because Waspinator hasn't been released yet in country (he is not even remolded!!), add Animated Ironhide to the must buy list along with the ones from Animated we were already expecting.
I like Goldfire Grimlock, don't ask me why, or ask me, I don't care.

WAIT!!!! WHERE'S TOXIC OIL SLICK!!!!?? :-(

Wow, these expanded movieverse figures are getting my attention in a big way, really digging Lockdown. Also, with Bludgeon and Mindwipe, I wonder if there's a possibility of a movie style Bugly to complete the three followers The Fallen had in War Within...

Out of all the ones shown the only 2 i didnt like were Prime and Blackout. Hope we'll see more pics. Want to see what legend Soundwave looks like.

And I kept telling myself to never get any more Animated figures - my will is strained. As for the movie toys - Bludgeon! Lockdown! HA Barricade! RAMBOHIDE!!! And more!

This is the best morning ever.

Edit: They actually went ahead and did a human alliance MUDFLAP!? Argh.

Meh to Legends Wheelie and Soundwave
Legends Jolt looks interesting at least as a protoform. Arcee looks far more poseable, but still not interested
Brakedown looks very cool, though I'll wait to see pics of the figure itself before comitting to buy.
Skystalker looks too ROTF for my liking, nice altmode though
Scattorshot looks neat, but too much like Animated Sentinal. Also too ROTF
Why did they want to make a deluxe sized ROTF Ratchet? He's got a voyager already.
I think I must be the only one who thinks ROTF Lockdown looks like crap.
Dirge is a neat idea, and if I were into ROTF, i'd get it. But I'm not, so I won't
Brawl looks damn cool, but I already have the henkei minibot version. I'll decide when I see more pics of him.
Jungle Attack Ironhide: Still not red...
I want Bludgeon for sure. I'm not too certain about that head sculpt, but it's a nice effort to merge his pretender self and his "inner" self
Mindwipe reminds me of a Cylon. I may get him too, we'll see
Human Allicance Figures: Don't collect em so I don't really care

I don't have interests in Animated, Titaniums, Masterpiece or G1 Figs, so I don't need any of those.

And my thoughts on those

Well like I said before
The Animated show and toys were and still are crap. Don't like the "kiddie" looking designs, so the Animated toys shown are a pass. Why I even bought those earlier toys is my guess as is anyone else's.

The Movie figs are SWEET!!! Especially HA Barricade Bludgeon, ohhhh baby! So there is goining to be a HA Mudflap eh? hrmmmm Inter-resting. :-?

HOLY CRAP!!!!!

Scattorshot looks awesome. :D

Jungle ironhide, meh

I WANT THAT HA BARRICADE!!!!!!!!!!!

and wasp too! :|

But why the heck does blackout look like the movie one in helicopter mode? :???:

Mindewipe has earned a spot on my shelf. :D

Whats with the confusion on the bike sisters with the HA figures? Skids comes with a red Chromia called Arcee, and Mudflap has an Arcee, that will probably be blue and they call it Chromia.

Deluxe movie Ratchet???? Interesting... looks good too. I like movie Lockdown too but I wish his alt mode would have been a bit more realistic, less animated.

I'm liking Bludgeon and Brawn a lot, might have to pick those up. The rest are nice but I don't have the $ and space for them.

Looks like they went and killed two flies with TFA Wingblade Prime. The Deluxe earth-mode Prime mold without battle damage and upgrades for the Voyager Prime mold. I mean look at it, the armour is out of proportion with the Prime it comes with.

Almost all the ROTF figures there looked great, I'm particularly happy about Jungle Ironhide, since I didn't buy any of the 2007 line, and the existing ROTF Ironhide looks awful...

Bludgeon (A samurai robot mode!?), Mindwipe (a high tech F-117 alt mode/ Ninja-like robot mode!!!!), and Dirge will be on my list, and i hope all three will be decepticons. I will feel bad if even ONE of them is an autobot, since their looks would be more appropriate for evil, not good. I might get skystalker if those weapons in his hands turn out to be hand held axes when a sharper image shows up.
