well war for cybertron prime i have as well as bumblebee so i will need their decepticon counterparts. Though admittedly bumblebee was rubbish and the transformations so fiddly it made deluxe galvatron seem tame. Though prime's robot mode is excellent.
i have sunstreaker and sideswipe so now i need red alert.. NEEEED i say.
blurr... i always wanted the original g1 blurr. Not too convinced about this repaint, however I really like the drift mode - it's perhaps my favourite tf toy since classics jetfire. Perhaps its slightly larger size compared to his deluxe brethren made the trasnformation less fiddly.
dirge... well i have ramjet and thrust as well as starscream... i recall receiving my first decepticon toy (they only ever sold the more popular autobots where i lived for the first year or so) anf I had a choice between thrust and dirge - i went with thrust because he had a more interesting jet mode what with the vtol fans . I later got g1 ramjet but never did get a dirge... until the rotf dirge which i bought to make up the team....

The lighting in general looks rather washed out. The colors for all of them are probably richer than in that pic (I know my WFC Prime is a richer set of colors for example).

Unfortunately I doubt they will bring out any more WFC figures aside from the 4 already released/announced.

well I really like them all, well, red Alerte is nice, but too similar to Sideswipe, maybe if it had the red head...ah what the hell!
I hope they actually arrive in my local stores, they don´t have ANYTHING
beyond the ROTF wave that had gears and thrust, and they didn´t even get the complete waves before that!

And dammit why does nobody but TRU have Generations ??? I was lucky to get the last Thrust in 1 of 3 TRU's I checked. I passed up Bumblebee and Optimus. Too weird. I never saw Drift. I want another Thrust in the package. Will Wal-mart be getting Generations ???

Trppticon would make an awesome leader-class figure, and its been a while since we had a true G1 style Trypticon so if they made a toy based on the game version on Trypticon, it would be pure awesomeness.
Unfortunately I doubt they will bring out any more WFC figures aside from the 4 already released/announced.
I agree with you, WE, the people who PAY Has/Tak for thier Transformers, should get what WE want, and we SHOULD get a WFC Trypticon, and possible a WFC Omega Supreme

Sorry, WE (as collectors) are NOT the people who provide HasTak with most of the $$$ from Transformers. That still is, and will always be, the parents of the people these TOYS are made for.

That's what I keep saying, but do they listen? Noooooooooo...
We do have a voice though, and Hasbro gives us nods from time to time. Still, even if every single one of us made it clear that we want an Omega Supreme, WFC Trypticon, or even a Leader Blackout, we make up only 5-10% of their total clientele, and I'm being generous. Not enough for Hasbro to bother.

Wait a minute, Hasbro said that they would make more WFC figures provided the current batch sold well, and well, all the Toy'r'us I saw them sold out of them quickly, so here's hoping. They said that that they really wanted to make Trypticon from WFC, but they didn't cause his alt-mode is basically an astroid. I understand that Exodus remained him as the Nemesis so here's hoping ( I don't think there's a picture of that yet, or it could be being left for the sequel to WFC to figure it out).
Well, except for Prime ( I already have him), I want all of these guys, but Red Alert, Blurr and Dirge especially. Probably cause I never had the originals, and Starscream needs more troops damnit. I wonder if Soundwave can do the boom box mode seen in the credits for WFC and that commercial.
I wonder what Generations Kup's alternate head mold will be.

Hard to tell... but I sure hope so! That would be super cool. I'm interested to hear Blurrz's take on his namesake.
I like that the Generations Thrust & Dirge have black feet and forearms, making them more accurate than the Henkei ones I got, but I'm wondering if anyone else thinks Dirge's face is a little too light / too similar to Thrust's? I thought he was supposed to have a darker face? Or maybe I'm misremembering...

Along with Darkmount/Straxus, I've only found concrete pre-orders (in the UK) for Megs and Darkmount, I wonder if the assortments have changed?

I wish they'd done Red Alert's head and hands in red.
Blurr is completely perfect.

re dirge i'd have hoped for a different weapon too - i think the only seeker in the classics line that has different weapons is ramjet. The original 3 coneheads had different weapons - thrust had inherited the previous seekers' null rays, ramjet had these large cluster bomb things whilst i believe dirge had skinnier versions of ramjet's bombs.
still hoping for a 3rd party solution - scaled down mp starscream nullrays *sigh*

Soundwave will go in my Classics section with Dirge, and Megs will get a place of honor battling Prime beside my Playstation.

Megatron and Darkmount are the 2 new Wave 2 figs. Red Alert and Soundwave are in Wave 3.
At least according to the pre-orders.

I held a Henkei Red Alert up against the display case with Generations Red Alert, and I can see the merits of either, and would probably get both if I like the character more.
Either color head is great, the brighter whites of the Henkei look better than the less so Generation, but the wierd chrome placement and the too much solid arm colors of the henkei make me lean towards Generations.
As it is, I'll just stick with the Generations one strickly for cost.
