Information on Takara Transformers Movie Jetpower Optimus Prime & Megatron Figures

Please make me a better Leader Megs, please make me a better Leader Megs. They're basically creating a new Jetfire as an armor pack for OP so it's quite possible that they're going to remold/retool Megatron to maybe give him better arms. That's really all I want. Don't let me down TakTomy

So roughly how much are these in USD? I'm interested, but not if they're expensive. Jetfire's robot mode is the part I don't like about him. Although I don't exactly need another movie Prime... I still haven't found a Megatron I'm happy with.

I am also hoping the the alt mode for Megatron is movie accurate *cough* wings *cough*

Thats exactly what I thought when I read the description.

I imagine they will treat Jetfire the same way that they did Ultra Magnus in RID (authough without a robot mode of course) and have the figure break up as armor pieces that fit on various spots on Prime.

Also I wonder what size classes these new figures will be. Megs seems to be listed at 3,499 yen, where the Prime/Jetfire pack is 5,999. So they're probably smaller than their leader class figures.

Is there anything to say what scale these figures are? I'm interested anyway, but if they're Leader-Sized, I wonder if they'll be worth getting instead of the current Leaders...(A real seller would be Jetfire's sound chip; I can't stand that pathetic voice on his figure at the moment, it needs to be glorious! Although, considering this new one has no robot mode, it's a slim chance he'll have a voice at all...)

Man I hope that isn't going to be the new trend then, where Prime will just start wearing his underlings like in Armada.

I think that Jet-Powered Optimus sounds better than that Asia exclusive 2-pack Prime and Jetfire. And it sounds like Prime might make a decent movie Guiltor. Prime with a giant gun on the back of his truck mode? Yep! Sounds like Guiltor to me.

I think this Megatron will be a new mold.

So optimus turns into one of these right?



Me likey the sound of this, it sounds very Hybrid Style Formers. If so, and at a good price I will have to look at this.

Hopefully prime wont be as Fat as he was at the end of the film, if so Ive got a new cast for Weird Al's Fat song
