Is it just me or are those deluxe and voyager prices a little too high?

Legends voyagers were going for about 4190 yen while deluxes were going for 3040 yen. And those were the ones that came with extra targetmasters and headmasters. So what's the deal here? Even the double pack of little guys seem a little high too since legends sized legends figures were 1520 yen and came with a headmaster.

Or is this normal now and I just haven't noticed since I haven't paid attention to mainline Takara prices since the "unification".

Considering the Legends Target Masters came with their partners I find it funny they are now getting individual releases over there for inferior versions of what they already have. :SG-CONS:

To be fair, there's no reason not to release them, the molds are paid for so might as well see what they can get with them.

SG-17 Ironhide
SG-18 Six-Gun

Voyager Class
SG-06 Optimus Prime
SG-13 Megatron
SG-19 Starscream

What I'd really like to see now is some good scaling shots of the Siege figures. How tall is Ironhide next to Optimus Prime, or Hound? I'm hoping that we get some good variance in height in each size class, a la the Studio Series, so even though characters like Ironhide and Ratchet are only "Deluxe" figures, they could be larger than the "average" Deluxe, like say, Sideswipe or Prowl. I also want to see how these figures compare in size to earlier Generations figures. I'm hoping the increased price point translates into a little more size back after the downscaling from T30 and the Prime Wars Trilogy.

Don't get your hopes up  though I suspect we'll be seeing group shots soon enough :)

I'd like to see a new Elita-1 in this line. I want to know what her Cybertronian Alt-mode was.

She kinda looks like a cross between Blurr and Arcee.

You know, if they could redeco the Titans Return Arcee mold with some more red highlighting and remold the Titan Master face plate, that would make a pretty good Deluxe sized Elita One in my book.

Or they could do a new Elita One figure based off of the unused Leader Class Arcee from Potp. Remember, they did say that all of the candidates for Potp's new Prime were already designed, so just take a majority of cues from that (seemingly similar to how Ultra Magnus and Shockwave did if those are the same designs,) and retool it a slight bit to resemble Elita One. It'd be a good way to use a mold and design that would probably never be used, as the idea of a Leader Class Arcee without any explanation would be rather unusual.

They would probably treat her like Shockwave, the smaller, voyager scaled figure is the actual character, while the extra bits that make her a leader are just that, extra bit to help her be more powerful in battle.

I had completely forgotten that she transformed in that episode. Also, a retooled TR Arcee would be perfect. They would probably rework it so she's not a headmaster since there's no gimmick stuff.

Seibertron.com has some nice exclusive content for you. We got our hands on Transformers War for Cybertron Siege voyagers Optimus Prime and Megatron. So below you will see several in hand images which also includes the back of the box, which we had not seen so far. Also, with these images you will see something quite interesting, the paint apps do differ from figure to figure. As you will see, none of the battle damage is consistent across the figures. The placement is but the thickness and amount will differ making each figure unique.

These toys are shipping from distributors/wholesalers so these toys should be out at retail soon. There have already been sightings in comic book stores in California and Texas, further proving that distributors, such as Diamond, have gotten their stock to ship to retailers.

We have some more Seibertron.com content for you. While we have several in hand images showing us the variation in deco from figure to figure, we also have a video review for both Transformers War For Cybertron Siege voyagers Optimus Prime and Megatron. These are currently being shipped to distributors (and in turn retailers) and can be found at comic book stores right now and will be found at big box retailers soon. The video review includes a look at the figures in package, along with features, a critical review, and the transformation.

Also, we have from a private source the case breakdown of the first wave of Seige. Optimus Prime and Megatron are of course evenly split in a case and it is also evenly split for the deluxes (Hound, Sideswipe, Flywheels and Cog) and battlemasters (Blowpipe, Lionizer and Firedrive). However it is not an equal split for the Micromasters where the Decepticon Airstrike is two per case while Autobot Race Car Patrol and Autobot Battle Patrol are each three per case.

Enjoy the review below and please let us know if you spot any Siege toy at a big box store.

Wasn't one of the things that Hasbro revealed about Optimus that he had some form of Hover-truck mode?
