Seriously I never noticed the vehicle mode similarities before!
I want all the seekers, but the coneheads have been a bit pricey.

Hoping Hasbro decides to release these as well. Dirge might end up being my fav although Ramjet was my personal fav as a kid.

Always liked the plane modes but hated the overly kibbled and dorky looking robot modes of the seekers especially the coneheads. But yeah awesome jet.

Man do i hate the MP Seeker molds. I'm also tired of looking at them every couple months when a new one comes along.

I donno, man.... Thrust is one of my favorite seekers, just because he's got those cool VTOL turbines. But having the wings tucked at the LOWER body in those new photos? It makes him look like he's wearing Hammer pants. Which put the image in my skull of Thrust dancing around in front of the Autobots, singing 'Can't touch this'.

Not bad, but I was expecting better for that price. I'm still quite happy with my iGear Coneheads, and they did a much better job with the kibble.

The price is not related to the figure or any of its costs, which sucks. Its only that price because Hasbro Asia has determined that's how much fans are willing to pay for something they cant get from Japan.
At this point, its not much different than fans paying more than double the price of a retail toy for an exclusive paint job and tooling, which is what Fun Pub was all about. Its only expensive because its an exclusive.

Hmm. The posing and transformation in robot mode are kinda janky so I'll wait until we get better pictures before I pass judgement. That jet mode is gorgeous though. Gotta love the Coneheads.
Regarding the wings conundrum, whilst it wouldn't be accurate in the slightest I'd love to see the Coneheads done with their wings worn like MP-03's hip pods. It'd look a lot less clumsy IMO.

For those unaware, Masterpiece Thrust was released at Takaratomymall and online retailers should be getting their Hasbro Asia version stocked soon (if not already). Fellow Seibertronian Optibotimus has made a video review for us, showing what this new release has in store including comparisons with MP 11 Starscream, MP 11R Ramjet and even the G1 toy. He also says that his copy of Thrust does not have the shoulder miss-assembly that plagued the Ramjet release. Enjoy the video below.
