You can also sign up for their emails and get a 20% off coupon. I got him for $38 shipped. Not a spectacular deal but still better than full price.

Wow, thats a far cry from the times you said he was close to being perfect. Now he's the worse leader of all time? It looks like your opinion on him is lowering by the hour

And trust me, there are worse leaders. The seekers, for example. And I dont find sixshot so much worse than the other Titans Return leaders aside from Sky Shadow. The leaders have all been a bit ho hum for me due to them all being similar to other leader figures, and quite simple compared to the more ingenious deluxes.

How is that so bad, is it because you preordered him for a heftier price?

i dont see whats wrong with sixshot.. i havent opened him yet.
whats wrong with the seeker mold. i do think that by the skywarp mold things were harder to keep tabbed in. like the shoulders.
of course i like galvatron where everyone else hate him. so theres that

There isnt so much wrong with the seeker mold, my problem is how it is reused from a mold that I would have preferrerd remained unique.

But there are still problems with it like the holes at the back end of the jet mode that are left from jetfire, and how the wings look like cheese graters. The seekers always have colours on the wings that we can see in robot mode, it adds to the colour variance.

While Jetfire looked awesome, the seekers come off as cheap reuses with not as much colour variance.

Well he is close to being good, but is frustratingly not there. The weak knees are a real let down since he can only stand straight upright, the arms are not very movable, and those stickers. Plus all the modes feel close to alright, but they just aren't good. The wolf and tank modes are the only ones I feel are worth it, and those are the only 2 I really use. Sub/gun mode is yeck, car mode is not impressive, and the jet mode just won't work because of the wings and the way the arms are supposed to stay in place but don't. plus his guns are weak and he is just.... too simple.

I really like the leader seeker mold, and I find it better than Sixshot. Thundercracker has loads more presence, personality, and at least he can hold his poses.

IDK, the wave 3 Megatron and Sixshot were major disappointments for what I had hoped for, and they are very much overshadowed by deluxes and titan masters(!!!). Blaster was a good mold too, and one that I would enjoy more if it was a mobile alt mode instead of a boombox.

And compared to Jetfire, Thundercracker, Blaster, Ultra Magnus, and Megatron, he just doesn't feel up to their snuff. I know your opinion on Megatron, but I love him to death, so there is some slight bias there, but I still find him a better figure.

I signed up for HTS months ago, so unless they have a promo, there's no way to get Sky Shadow at a reduced price currently for me. I'll wait. Its amazing that after months of never seeing a Soundwave to the point that I ordered with my HTS coupon back in Feb, now 'm seeing him everywhere. In fact many stores have all 3 leaders (PM Prime, Blaster & Soundwave). I guess the one Sixshot I saw and obtained was a freak accident, but glad I did...I still don't quite get why a store that at one time got *newer* leaders would later be restocked with older ones?...

I mean there is still a Wal-Mart store that back in December had Leader Prime & Blaster (which obviously sold), but now they have 4 CW Skywarps...???

I'm slowly starting to see wave 4 but its all kinds of Random... Krok & Quake at Walgreens, Broadside at Target, and the TM's at Target & Wal-Mart months ago (which are all gone now). Still have yet to see Perceptor, Topspin, the Legends, or Sky Shadow (the only wave 4 character I want) at B&M.

Sign up with a different email address. If you don't have one, go create a quick Gmail account and use that for to get the promo code.

Hey guys, you know how Broadside's carrier mode has pegs for the little Aerialbot jets on it? I just found out that Broadside's jet mode also has pegs for those little jets, some of these pegs are only found in Jet Mode. Meaning you can put the little Aerialbots all over Broadside's Jet Mode in addition to his Carrier Mode, which means that if the Aerialbots are meant to represent the sizes of normal jets, then Broadside's Jet Mode ain't no normal-sized jet. His Jet Mode's a biggun!

Of course we know way back when the original series Fort Max was the pinnacle of Transformers "Bigness". But for GI Joe fans it was the USS Flag. I often think about this in comparison with Broadside (which I know is completely unfair)...but man, if they could have modified that into a Transformer, what an amazing monstrosity it would have been

A monumental behemoth who... gets seasickness and is terrified of heights.

Heh, his own massive height alone from just standing up right might make him faint. :P

That'll be the next crossover San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. The Flag repainted to represent Broadside.

To be honest I think my Broadside will be FP Warbot Assaulter. He's one of the few early 3P pieces that's aged really well, and the change from actual aircraft carrier into a kind of space-cruiser-thing makes a lot more sense to me.

I'll have to try that out! Wasn't sure what to do with the tiny buggers in bot mode so I put them in the jet cockpit.
Now Broadside has spurs that jingle jangle jingle.

That's how I see TR Broadside's jet mode. To me, it's less of a one-man single-piloted small aircraft and more of a gigantic, multi-personnel, space cruiser/warship/starship-type spacecraft with jet-like attributes in its design, while the Carrier Mode is a "Space Carrier" akin to Space Battleship Yamato, but with the dual purpose of functioning both in space and on planetary oceans. 8-)

I at first thought it would be cool if Broadsides carrier mode was like Marvel/SHIELDS Helicarrier, and then I thought...what's the plane mode for??
