Yo Toyhax, where are my
STAR SEEKER FACTION SYMBOLS!
I've got a Webdiver Galleon that really needs some symbols to join Cannonball's crew.

Really kicking myself for not stocking up on those cassette-smartphones when they were clogging shelves a year ago. I knew full well we'd be getting this many upgrade sets someday, but I procrastinated. Maybe they'll show up at discount stores before I resort to overpaying online.
The main upgrade Swoop needs is his launchers, a tad more complicated than the Clone guns. Any 3rd party announcements in that area, or would it just be too hard to attach them considering how the wings fold up? Someone will probably do a full Dino-accessory set once Snarl and Sludge are out. Until then, no amount of stickers can make ex-Divebomb look less naked.

That Nitro set to turn him into Thunderwing is pretty neat. Especially for people who don't want to risk painting. Still, I'll pass because I already have my custom.

Same. Legends wave 2 barely hung around in stores here, probably because people were snapping them up to go with Soundwave. I thought I was safe waiting on Takara Tomy (got Rewind, Ravage, and Laserbeak from them), but then they passed on Rumble and there was no getting him at a good price by the time we caught on. Too bad, that Enemy sticker set looks nice.
Not at all. If you don't mind them not launching it would require four color molded parts, two red missile tips and two gray launchers that can be plugged together. It would be a little more complex, but not complicated and probably use less plastic than two clone guns. Actually attaching them would be super easy since there are perfectly placed slots on the underside of the wings to plug into and the best part is they wouldn't interfere with the wings folding since they have wedges carved into them that give a lot of leeway for some extra length.

I'm in the same boat. I got the Mountain Dew Stickers and had to get the cassette off Ebay. I like at least one of these new ones, but I'm not paying ebay prices for it.
There timing is pretty bad on those.

Well I guess that almost sort in a way if you squint looks like tarn if you cut of tarns shoulders and left him in a desert for a while and shaved down his face and took his guns and yeah it's a bit of a stretch.

Or paint the figure first.
This is the largest discussion I’ve seen on a product update news.

While I didn't see the value in the other Dinobot stickers, the Grimlock ones do look nice.

All the black stuff on Arcee is probably based on Hasbro's Thrilling 30 release and occasional IDW colors. They really went half way with this and should have included the black around the neck and hips.

Alt mode is slightly more convincing.

I like that the PotP Grimlock sheet includes labels with cartoon-style blue optics for both his heads and for Volcanicus'. I painted the optics blue on mine and my goodness but I think it looks better. Maybe it's a color balance thing.
I'm disappointed by the absence of two things. I really want to see improved/alternate versions of G1 Sunstreaker and Ultra Magnus' sheets. Sunstreaker's sheet is missing the Diaclone/pre-rub factory headlight stickers (extra egregious when you can see them on the Sunstreaker in the sticker map!), and both sheets have certain stickers that need color-correcting -especially Sunstreaker's blasted shoulder stickers. The clash isn't too bad on Ultra Magnus, but on Sunstreaker ye gods. Those stickers are supposed to blend the shoulders in with the rest of the carbody, so they need to be the same color. Leaving them red (which matched the Diaclone version) makes them do just the opposite so that the shoulders stick out worse than they would if you left them bare black!
Ideally an upgraded Sunstreaker sheet would also Transformerize certain decals (the "CR" ones on his doors and the one under his canopy that just has a blank silver rectangle, where the Diaclone one said "Car Robo"), but it's no biggy if it doesn't. The headlights and yellow shoulder stickers, those are the key thing that would make me want to buy a Sunstreaker sheet.

I see what they are going for. But one must paint the whole figure in dark purple or black first before applying the sticker sheet. Using Apeface head is also brilliant.

Well, that's kinda the point. "Stretching" some random toys into other characters offer more sets to sell. I often use those oddball sets to make my own original characters customs and it work very well. Even on the toy that is not intended by the set. Just look a few posts above to have an idea:
