The Scorecard Review was on site in Chicago keeping everyone up to date on the latests goings on at the various Transformers 3 filming locations around the city. At one site, they had posted faces on posts, to indicate general locations of the robots during the scene. One of those faces is one that we haven't seen before. Judging only on the appearance, it is most likely an older robot, and from the expression possibly a thinker rather than a fighter. What do you think? Please share your theories here and see all of the Scorecard's images here.
What in Christ's name is that!? Usually, I've been supporting M Bay's TF movies, but I just cant do it this time! He has finally done it. Michael Bay has finally ruined Transformers. Its the end! The end of man kind! Every one panic!!!!!!
Yeah i could kind of see that having a sort of german/russian accent, sorta like scalpel/the doctor from rotf, just reminds me of einstein, as for who it is, i don't know, but i hope it's a bot made for the movie such as skids and blackout rather then being wheeljack or perceptor.
Clearly this is a picture of Shockwave- can't you tell? It looks just like how Bay thinks he should look.
Kidding aside, I put my money on Silverbolt- because he's being voiced by an old guy, (James Avery).
So in a way I'm not kidding at all- because we all know how Silverbolt is an old man robot with spectacles and hair. Maybe he'll rip himself apart so Optimus can wear him as a dress, since there's precedent for that and all.
If he's an entirely new character, great waste of space, since there are plenty of real characters left to jam into this movie.
LOL!! It's Scrooge Mcduck!!! Damn! I was hoping there would be no more old bots. I really wasn't a big fan of Jetfire, and that hair... Oh well, maybe I'll like him, we'll see. But ugh...
Being as this is the Bayverse....I'm gonna go out on a limb and say either Wreck-Gar or SIlverbolt... the face reminds me of Ludwig Von Drake from Ducktales and other old Disney cartoons.
Given the previous statement about exploring the transformers mythos...I'm a little worried that it might be alpha trion...I mean if Jetfire aged badly imagine how messed up alpha trion must be. Or it could be silverbolt, since he could've be I dunno like jetfire's partner back in the day as seekers lol...and he would have silver hair! oh WOW!

For the cast and crew. It's a point of reference to allow the actors to interact with the not yet rendered models for the scene.
In the first movie, they had to interact with things like a neon ping pong ball on the end of a stick. Some movies still use this method. At least these movies actually give the actor something to work with.
Still, that's gotta be a seriously difficult task. It's hard enough acting in front of the camera, but having an imaginary friend again after a decade of growing up? And doing it in front of a crowd and cameras? Yeah. Not a pleasant task, methinks.
