We've become pretty familiar with the new design for Transformers: Age of Extinction Optimus Prime robot mode, but Bumblebee has managed to stay off the radar for the most part. We've caught glimpse of him here and there from various licensed products, which is the case again today, but this is best look we've got his new robot mode to date. The images comes to us from the latest product catalog from Carrera Toys, who are producing a Transformers: Age of Extinction slot car set, which features the aforementioned Bee and Lockdown (2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4). Check out the images mirrored below.

Glad to see that the one of the things they carried over from the old design is the oversized crotch plate...

This racing set would be awesome ... if the cars transformed like the vintage set.

More black than yellow in 'bot mode from what I can tell. Glad to see the Beast Hunters deco is changing the way future Bumblebees are presented.

i think bumblebee looks very cool.. i still don't like the disappearing car parts in robot mode though.. .

it looks like his door wings are gone which is going to be good for the toy.. since not a single version of bumblebee in toy form had the doors in the accurate position.. 07 concept got it close.

i love the new camaro design too. i'm surprised so many people dislike it.

Im not a fan of old characters getting new bodies for each movie, especially when their alt mode hasnt changed. Just leave them alone. It worked fine for Rachet and Ironhide. And wasnt Sideswipe the same robot mode even when he went convertible ?

I like Bumblebee's new look. I didn't like how they beefed him up in Dark of the Moon.

Looks meh. Way too overly angular and random all over the place. =;

Very stylized, very obvious that artistic license has been taken. Anyone counting on this as an accurate representation should get both their eyes and their head checked. I've seen box art on KO figures come closer to actual product depiction or character representation than this. >:oP

It definitely fits in with the armour motif.

And as always Rated X hates change.
