We just received some exciting news from the Transformers Collectors' Club, regarding a massive sale they're currently having over at their store: a clearance of all their archived figures! Read more about it below, including an exclusive extra with each purchase, and happy money purge shopping.

Hello Club -

I hope things are cooling down in your area! Today we begin a new sale. We are running out of room in the warehouse and we have decided to "thin" down some of the archives. We have been keeping too many of each product for future use and now it is time to reclaim the space! We have been at this for over 10 years so there is quite a bit of different items to choose from... some retail... some sold out exclusives and convention items!

However... we don't have many of any of these products! Some are the only one left!

So, to make this even more fun we are including with each of these products, the below Certificate of Authenticity which if you look closely, has the embossed 1926 Corporate Seal of Hassenfeld Bros. Inc. Providence, RI. We came across this one of a kind item from a collector. We thought you would enjoy having a commemorative print from it. This is the FIRST corporate seal that was created when they incorporated in 1926!

Check out the items now!

This is a damned great sale. Old Botcon stuff at way-less-than-ebay prices.

I got the Virulent Clone 2-pack for (relatively) dirt cheap prices.

I grabbed a set of those as well. They've become inexplicably tough to find. Was tempted by Ratchet and Flareup, but have to watch the budget. Would have loved to finish up my Funpub backlog all at once but had to use some self control.

Also getting a hookup on '06 Megs and Waspinator that they put up for the insane price of $300. Good buddy of mine got in on one today and only got it for the tech spec cards. Super duper freaking happy about it. Never thought I'd own those two

Wow! All the good stuff went SUPER-QUICK! Or at least all the stuff that goes for way too much on eBay went super-quick.

They should have just thrown everything on eBay instead. That way people wouldn't get really excited only to be met with extreme disappointment.

So annoyed. Saw this on my commute home. Rushed to my computer. Tried to order Games of Deception loose set & Punch/Counterpunch... both out of stock.

Predictable.

Oh well... I may as well pick up the boxed Games of Deception set...

Dammit! Most of the ones I wanted are gone. I wish they'd remove the listings for the ones that are out of stock. I kept seeing ones and would add them to my cart only for the message "Not enough stock" to keep appearing. :-x :-x :-x

It seems that they say "Status: Discontinued" next to the figures they are out of. I feel your frustration though.

The sale was quick... and I didn't get most of what I wanted, but hey, at least I have my Botcon Dreadwind & Bugbite. I got the Invasion loose set, too... As much as I hate to reveal my "scalper" colors, it makes me feel better that I can offset the Deception Boxset cost by ~$150 by selling the Invasion dudes individually.

Also, if anyone's interested in a set of 2007 boxed set Seekers... I'm selling!

Ugh.

And yes. That Tarantulus art is awesome. I'm really coming around, especially with the claw microns.

If Funpub is reading this, could I make a suggestion? I REALLY appreciate you selling these figures at a reasonable cost. But if you do something similar in the future, would you mind setting up a raffle instead?

I know that sounds crazy, but hear me out. The email said that you only had 1 of some sets. The people who were off work on the east coast had an unfair purchasing advantage compared to those on the west coast. People who didn't want ANY of these sets will still buy them up KNOWING they can almost double their money on eBay in a week. [If you don't believe me, look at the post directly above mine.] The fans who LOVE your figures, but can't/won't pay scalper prices are unable to get your products now.

Maybe next time, add a "Want to Purchase" button for these limited items? Not all the sets - just maybe the items that you have 10 or less of, especially the box sets. Wait a day or two, then pull a name from those that requested it. If you don't get enough "Wants" in that time period, then just put all of them for sale as a first come, first serve.

Also, in my rush up the stairs to order sets that were no longer in stock, I neglected to check the mailbox. Just walked downstairs to find Chromedome had arrived! Huzzah consolation prize!

Indeed, Stylors, arms AND legs are wrong.

Does anyone know a good way to fix it? Is a hairdryer in order, or are we basically stuck with the mismatched limbs?

I came late to the party. I was gonna buy the beast wars stuff just to have it. But all sold out. It would have been nice, but it's nothing I cant live without. I hope only real collectors got their hands on these. I hope the scalpers were all too busy at their day jobs flipping burgers, moping bathrooms, and bagging groceries.

While I'm sure some folks got in on these just to resell at a premium, 1) I ain't mad and 2) You'd have to be an insanely quick handed and well prepared scalper to have gotten in on a "ton" of that stuff since they were limited to one per membership. I think of the dozen or so Megs/Wasp sets, you can go count up posts here and elsewhere and account for half of them. Same goes for much of the 08 stuff.

So yeah, if someone ends up with a big haul of multiple super valuable things, good for them, but it'd have taken a small miracle to pull that off and the timing window was just too small for me to buy into some theory of Grubby McNeckbeard Scalpsmith IV keeping anyone else from having a shot at stuff. These were high demand items and pretty much everyone got the club's email/tweet at the same time. You can buy stuff on phones these days pretty quick, it makes total sense that everything they had worth jumping on would be jumped on quickly.

I'm told that the best way to pop them off is to do so laterally. Avoid pulling them perpendicularly as that might lead to breakage.

There really isn't a good way to take apart and reassemble arms microns. That mold can especially be quite fragile.

Mine are "backwards" as well, but can someone fill me in on why it matters on this mold? He's symmetrical either way, all it does is swap which end a peg ends up on in weapon mode.

The feet (small as they are) would be backwards and his hands would be upside-down (the thumb is sculpted on top, not in the middle of the fist, not to mention one arm has a laser cannon).

Plus, S.2 has a really nasty error in its assembly instructions concerning the rods that connect his body to his backpack. The ridge in those rods are supposed to act as stoppers between the backpack and body, but more often than not, unwitting builders follow the instructions and end up with an ill-fitting backpack that will cause all kinds of breakages.

Nope, I'm talking about this:

Simply put: the instructions say:

Body - Wings - Ridge - Backpack

But the intended order is:

Body - Ridge - Wings - Backpack

Another day, another TFCC Subscription Service 3.0 reveal with artwork, and this time it's the redeco (and new head) of the Generations Deluxe Bumblebee mold as Carzap. But not just happy with a robot, the Club also includes a human partner in crime, Kre-O Blackrock! Check them out below, and remember to join before October 2nd for yours.

We have gotten a great response to the Transformers Collectors' Club Figure Subscription Service (TFSS) for version 3.0, and now, it’s time for another reveal! Next up, a 90’s unreleased Transformers Generation 2 concept from Japan, now finally realized with the help of Kre-O - Blocktown Carzap w/ GB Blackrock Kreon and Kre-O Battle Station! As a reminder, the order period will be open through 11:59 PM October 2nd.

Have to chime in again about Chromedome. He looks jaw-dropping amazing in person. Way better than I'd hoped... even seeing pics. Huge success for the club, IHMO. 2.0 is wrapping up for a strong finish.

And while I know a number of these 3.0 bots aren't for casual fans, the deep, obscure references and new characters are really exciting for me. Nacelle and CarZap are in my top picks for 2015. Mockup looks good for both.

I'm warming up quickly to Taratulas, too. New deco and claw hand notion are helping.

As for Krok and SerpentOR, they look like they were designed for those molds. Loving getting some transforming Action Masters.

And i got Halo 4 dlc codes but i don't know who plays halo here.

Yea, OCD beckons.

I mean, I'm probably just going to live with them backwards - especially the arms. The legs seem more fixable, so we'll see.

My thinking is, if I can get them right safely, why not do it?

Between Hubcap (IDW 'Bee with Renderform head), Goldfire, and Nightbeat, I really, really like the mold. Carzap looks like another winner here.

Also, originally (IIRC), it seemed like the Carzap mold utilized Nightbeat's head - here it looks like an entirely new head. Is that new?

EDIT: in other news, I fixed Stylor's legs. You get a bit of stress mark once you pull the legs off (make sure you pull straight down), but a little heat (hair dryer) makes it fade fast, and it's covered up regardless by the lower leg pieces themselves.

Conclusion? Win.

And now you gotta fix the arms. Be very careful when yanking those off the shoulders.

I'm gonna leave the arms for now - they are much less noticeable than the legs, so I'm fairly content at the moment.

Carzap is one of those cases where I feel hypocritical. If they released this, the original G2 mold, just like this, I'd think it was an amazing release and it'd be one of the tops in the FSS for me. But as it is? Total yawn and I just don't care. Is that weird?
