Makes me want that G2 Superion even more. And the G2 Menasor to go with him. Those 3P feet look oversized.

Also, if (big if) there will be a Combiner Wars Predaking, do you guys think they will be kept in scale with the already released figures, or will they go the G1 route and make the Predacons larger than the current figures? G1 Predaking scales very well with the CW figures, and I'm tempted to pick up a G1 Predaking to go with them, but not if the (possible) updated version will remain the same size.

Not a big fan of this set. Firefly is pretty much unchanged, Slingshot looks hideous gold,Skydive looks decent, Silverbolt okay, prefer Air Raid black.

In another comment someone mentioned how big the PE feet are but they really add to the figures. Of my 5 combiners, Galvatronus is the only one without the PE feet, the Hasbro version look so small.

Shit I don't have the Arielbots yet. :BANG_HEAD: I like the classic colors better.

I'm getting Combiner Wars G2 Aerialbots because my first ever combiner was the original G2 Aerialbots. I love how they have the colors spot on to their G2 originals.

Is it just me or do Skydive and Air Raid look like Topspin and Twin Twist?

Can't wait to have this guy, though I see that Powerglide seems to be a matte grey rather than silver? That's a bummer.

Wait, they can milk another repaint out of those molds:

Movie characters combiner.

Streetwise mold - Barricade
Rook mold - Wreckage
Offroad mold - Dropkick
Alpha Bravo Mold - Blackout
Hotspot mold - Sentinel Prime
or
Optimus Prime mold - Galvatron

Or:

Brawl mold-Brawl
Cyclonus mold-Starscream
instead of Sentinel Prime/Galvatron and Dropkick.

has gold plastic technology improved over the years?
a little risky using it, if it still has the same issues

Hasbro is aware, they've adjusted the formula to reduce the amount of flake so cases are now sporadic. Besides, CW G2 Quickslinger doesn't seem to have any metallic flake at all, so he should be safe.

For me, best CW head sculpt awards go to the Constructicons.

I found Streetwise to have quite a emarkable headsculpt and that Prowl looked great too. Are the constructicons that much better than Streetwise?

Which pic of powerglide are you referring to?

Its not the same gold plastic. This is more like what they used for voyager movie grimlock.

Yup, my friend Kanrabat never found all of them at his local toysrus, they were very scarce in Quebec. The only reason I didnt mind was because I had ordered them from tru.ca online when they were available for a day. They never became available online again. Of all the waves so far, this is the one which seems to never have truly reached saturation.

All I see on shelves, while out and about these days are Protectbots. Although I've only seen Hotspot once in the wild.

No sign of them in West Michigan, or at least the areas where I live in. I remember that my local Target got wave 4 deluxes, but it looks like they completely skipped wave 3. All the other stores I go to are full of RiD stuff.

I haven't heard any issues about Generations Goldfire/Goldbug, so I wouldn't say it's an issue...
