Not likely, since this is the second time they've run this exact same marathon.phase wrote:Does this mean that at some point in the near future they'll air the original movie and start showing Seasons 3 and 4?
The reason they won't air seasons 3 and 4 is because those are the non=Optimus/Megatron seasons (despite Optimus's small appearances in them) and Hasbro wants to keep viewers familiar with those two so more Optimsu and Megatron toys can be bought and sold.

But the Optimus & Megatron that are in G1 do not exist in any of the current toy lines so if thats the thinking behind it its pretty stupid. If classics or the commemorative series were out then sure but all there is in mass supply is DOTM and last i checked those look nothing like G1. Even TFPrime look nothing like it. Plus by not showing season 3 people who have never seen G1 wont ever see Arcee, or Hot Rod or Kup 3 characters that have been making comebacks in the past years and currently have toys out in various line. Wouldnt you want to try and get those to sell & not the 2 characters that dont need the help? But if you do want to stick with that its because of Prime & Megatron i have to argue it anyway cause we all know its bumblebees fault, im sure if he were in every episode of season 3 thats all they'd air. Bumblebee is the scourge & Downfall of the franchise, well one of them at least.

It's not the character that matters to Hasbro, but the name. Optimus and Megatron are more simply widely recognizable. They're afraid that if they show seaosn 3 and 4, the kids watching will be like, "Where's Optimus Prime/Megatron? Who are these guys? I wanna see Optimus Prime/Megatron!" and stop watching. So, they go with just seasons 1 and 2.Megatron Wolf wrote:But the Optimus & Megatron that are in G1 do not exist in any of the current toy lines so if thats the thinking behind it its pretty stupid.
