It looks like they're going to be getting their money's worth out of the Transformers Generations Fall of Cybertron Combaticons! A third repaint has been discovered, G2 Bruticus! Not only will you be able to as G2 Bruticus in the game if you pre-order from Amazon, but according to the solicitations posted by Thai site Toys2mail Station mirrored below, you will also be able to put him on your shelf in toy form! Scheduled for an October release by the looks of it.

SON OF A BITCH THAT'S SWEET.
Dammit Hasbro, if you're gonna pull this crap, just take my wallet.

Looks like he has a much larger range of motion because of it though.Blackstreak wrote:Honestly, they could have designed Bruticus a little better. His limbs look too long and too thin. If I had money I would still pick the set up for my collection, but they could've done better.

Doubtful. Rumor is that this will be an Amazon exclusive.
Energon colors - Normal retail
Game accurate colors - SDCC exclusive
G2 Colors - Amazon exclusive
Now, let's just wait and see how long it'll take them to do an RID Ruination color scheme and the Universe Polar Camo color scheme.

Well that's perfectly fine as well. Provided it's not ridiculously prices, of course. =_=;

That's correct. The details of the G2 version are unclear, but it's likely it's a giftset as well, plus I'm suspecting it's another one of those Asia Exclusives.

version.
There've been too many "it's so bad it's good" exclusives. How about we go back to aiming for "awesome" in terms of color schemes? Compete with Takara a bit.

Unless it turns out to be priced stupid i will settle for the individual retail figures since i'm not gonna have him combined i suppose it wont hurt my eyes.
Anybody know the release date for the Generations foc and how many waves there will be i'll take it there is at least 2 since shockwave missed the first and starscream getting a release.
The G2 Vortex looks way better than the other 2 .

Wave 1 has Shockwave, Optimus Prime and Autobot Jazz, expect them summer into fall. Wave 2 exchanges Shockwave for the Combaticons, and Wave 3 will hit spring 2013.

Because it's the "properly colored" neon Bruticus, of course.

Energon Bruticus Maximus needs some credit too. It's neon was spread across only 3 molds before now.RAcast wrote:Xephon0930 wrote:IDK why but the G2 colors make the WFC Bruticus look real good. Am I the only one?

craggy wrote:hmm, if I can't find anyone to get me the SDCC version, I was going to settle for the retail one, but that g2 Vortex is mighty appealing. If these are packaged individually I might mix and match a bit.
I was thinking of doing that. But G2 Bruticus is 1 boxed set.
Notice how the regular one has the title "FOC Deluxe asrt" or something, while G2 says "G2 bruticus" the item coding is a different style than regular delxues, so it's probably a boxed set.

You could possibly mold a turd into the shape of Bruticus and spray paint it though... not that I've tried...

Ah man, I have such a soft spot for RID stuff, I'd so get that if they were doing it!
In fact, if you give G2 Vortex SDCC Vortex's head and rotors, get rid of that camo with some rubbing alcohol or something, you'd get a kinda passable FOC Rotor!
GuyIncognito wrote:Looks just like the "normal" retail version.
Not at all, actually, they're pretty different.

Still, I can see the appeal of G2 colours, I love the "makin ma eyes bleed" colour schemes. I have all the Euro Exclusives and they lighten up my room when it's dark
