I really wish Sakamoto would stop drawing girls.

It's Japan they have culture differences, somethings that we think are wrong or not normal is kind of the other way around there so drawing stuff like this is basically normal for them and there is nothing we can do about it.
If someone wants to draw girls their going to and a bunch of people on the other side of the world ain't going to stop them.
Sort of like the live action films.
(Not defending him or accepting the drawings by any means but just trying to explain things via a switched perspective since I hate being bias or one sided)

I really wish Roberts would stop writing sad gay robots. Neither are going to stop any time soon.

I wish people would stop complaining.
I also wish that people would stop adapting every real life problem or trend into comic books and movies in general, I like the Transformers and Star Wars franchises so I can run away from IRL stuff not to get more of it.
That makes me a hypocrite and I wish I wasn't one.

Nightbeat's "80's bikini armor" is meant to resemble that which was worn by Chi Chi in her first appearances in Dragon Ball.

There's quite a lot of bikini-armoured girls in Japanese media from the 80s, most notably perhaps Genmu Senki Leda (also known as Yohko's Fantastic Adventure- Leda). This could be a reference to just about any of them.

The details match up with Chi Chi's original armor.Black Hat wrote:There's quite a lot of bikini-armoured girls in Japanese media from the 80s, most notably perhaps Genmu Senki Leda (also known as Yohko's Fantastic Adventure- Leda). This could be a reference to just about any of them.

Ah right. I'm not very familiar with Dragon Ball so I can't really comment on that. I'll take your word for it though.

Not just the Japanese but in other countries as well, remember Princess Leia? Media franchises like this will always at some point or another have something that some might call "sexualized"
In the end sometimes a girl in a bikini is just a girl in a bikini, not something to get worked up about just question it briefly then move on with your day.
(I personally think there is more of a problem with the unsettling amount of swear words/crude language and violence in this day and age then anything about this topic)

Hey, I never said it was a BAD thing. Leda in particular is a superb movie. Even has a transforming robot in it!

And it helps serve her the function of seducing Rhinox into helping Weirdwolf's Decepticons, since Rhinox is a stark 1980's Geewunner terrorist fanatic fan.Cobotron wrote:I mean, she is actually going for a swim.

Nice reference to the 80s show with the plot of stealing the transformation cog. It didn't take anyone being possessed by Starscream's ghost this time.

Starscream's ghost wasn't involved with the theft of Metroplex's cog. It was Metroplex's eyes that Starscream's ghost and Scourge tried to steal.Relic0037 wrote:Nice reference to the 80s show with the plot of stealing the transformation cog. Of course, they only tried that the first time because Unicron wanted them to do so. With no Unicron in the Legends World, there's no need for another try.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Starscream's ghost wasn't involved with the theft of Metroplex's cog.
