This looks sweeeeet!!
I have a full run of all the original Marvel release but Ive still ordered a copy of this for the new cover! #fanboy
I love Andy Wildman and Simon Furmans work on Transformers and this Regen of the old Marvel series will reignite my love of reading TF comics again Im sure.
The new Wildman cover looks tasty and Guidos retro cover is very 'Wildman' with those open mouth shots!
Im also a fan of Geoff Seniors work, so Im glad hes back onboard for the odd cover. Should Andy take a break it would be great to see Geoff step in to do a few issues. Perhaps a back up story (remember those kids?)!
Thanks to eveyone for my lovely 40th birthday wishes yesterday!

Forgive me for what may be a stupid question - is there a reason why the art and coloring is so retro? Is that how they are going to do the whole series?

This is just a reprint of the preceding story arc, to bring people up to speed - an intro to RG 1 if you will.

I saw this in the comic shop and passed.. I have issues 1-80 already and recently re-read them in anticipation of #81.
It is good to have for those that do not have the books though.

I agree.
Had there been a particularly juicy selection of extra material, maybe.
I did enjoy the cover and the fact that it's staple-binded, rather than TPB, though!
