Those Dinobots and the riders are just too cute. $5.99 is actually not a bad price considering their size. I think that if a really good customizer got their hands on those guys, they could really look sharp. Most of them are largely different sculpts, but it's hard to tell without a lot of paint

I hope the gnaw, nosedive, hangnail, roughneck and wide load get released as a different toy and i hope that it gets released for cyberverse and is the transformers showcase already over cause i have not seen the beast hunters or the cyberverse line for age of extinction but the movie generation toys are awesome.

Im finding the AOE/Generations thing a little confusing. What is the point of crossing the lines over?

Generations is the catch-all term for more complex, collector-aimed toys.

Robots in Disguise is the simpler version of toys.

Age of Extinction, being a temporary event and line, falls under either of the two accordingly.

That's how I read it at least! :D

That's an accurate explanation I think.

Still can't wait to see what Arcee looks like, hope she's WFC designed :BOT:

pretty sure that's the same one as turns into the G1-esque flatnose cab. There are pics of it from the show, but it's in godawful plastic colours with little paint apps on the bot. Evasion Mode Optimus Prime. If they put it on shelves with the Toy Fair deco it'll be evading me buying it.

it's truly sad if you can be pleased be this.

hasbro has royal screwed the fans on this one. before, you could tell that they care a bit about money.. now, it's CLEARLY the only thing they care about. . screw quality products, screw people who have been with the brand for thirty years, screw people who aren't so dumb they need a button to transform a toy, and screw people who don't want their dinobots looking like fruit loops with elf shoes.

again.. if you think that this shit should please people.. that's sad.

Please, everyone, refrain from attacking other users when expressing your disappointment.

It's fine not to be impressed, annoyed or even angry, but we will not tolerate offensive behaviour.

i've noticed Grimlock is covered in orange in all of the recent toy pics across the internet. is this a change that happens in the movie because unless its just REALLY subtle, he doesn't look orange anywhere in the trailer. just looks full on gray/metal colored.

I take back SOME of what I have said about the new releases now that I have gotten more info about all of the lines and the rest of the pics have been revealed but I still hold with being underwhelmed by every single line and have zero faith in Hasbro and the retailers carrying the lines that we are going to have any decent kind of availability in my area or that Hasbro will actually follow through with the release of all of the figures they have presented us with at these shows thus far.

That having been said I have to admit that there are a few more Generations figures that look appealing and barely a handful of movie toys that almost look good. I'm still reserving judgement since I have discovered recently that a lot of the Generations figures look good in the pictures on here but once you get the package in hand they leave a lot to be desired. If the same holds true for the movie line I see picking up exactly one figure out of all that have been shown. Generations... I may pick up a total of a half dozen more of the upcoming ones by years end and spend time tracking down previous ones I've missed. Grand total being maybe 15 figures added to my collection from the start of the year till the end of 2014. Hasbro really isn't working that hard at getting my money if that's all the more they can get out of me over the course of 1 year.

The only good thing about these pieces of crap is the head that could maybe be used for modding purposes, and the solid emblems which can also be used for modding or sticking onto other TFs.

Well, the Generations line has a lot of figures I want to buy, and it seems at least one version of AoE Grimlock will be decent.

All is well.
