A few tidbits of Alternator-related information were given out by Hasbro's panel at the San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend. These included:


  • Alternator Grimlock WILL be silver.

  • There has been NO attempt at getting the Mini Cooper license for an Alternator, but that is not to say it couldn't happen.

  • They haven't given up on getting the license to Volkswagon.

  • They have several clay mock ups for Alternators that to which they haven't gotten the license yet.


Interesting to hear that no deal has been attempted with Mini as yet - have Takara gone it alone with this one, or are all the pre-order listings for the Mini Binal Tech false?
