No kidding! A quadruple in sales, just from the movie? Holy crap. What's really interesting is the fact that sales fell just a small amount in '08. It really is a resurgence for the brand. What would really be interesting to see is a breakdown of the different sub-brands. I would wager the movie line still ranks first, followed by Animated, then finally Classics at the bottom..at least of the TF specific lines. This wouldn't include Crossovers...but I'd wager they are third out of four.

Why do we keep getting cut-out jetfire in the box?

Yeah but can we really count that one? That was so...I can't even begin to describe it. It wasn't indicative of how most of the combined forms are going to look, I'll say that much. There just wasn't enough Jetfire to make it a decent representation.
As far as the other stuff goes, same stuuf we've been seeing all along with the exception of the costumes and other trinket like stuff (freakin' TF Marbles??? WTF??)
I didn't see any of the TF Finger boards though. They need to do a few more of those with Movie graphics instead of just the G1/Universe style. I've gotta have some variety for my Tech-Deck Megatron and Ultra-Magnus dudes to grind on.
