After questions arose as to whether or not filming would take place at the National Mall in Washington DC, Nelson (administrator of Bay's message board) confirms that filming there would indeed take place. when wheelie put all of those green dots of old transformers on the map in transformers 2 one of the dots was pointing to washington D.C
