The galleries include comparison shots with their Japanese counterparts, the Generation 2 Dreadwing/Smokescreen tag team and the Botcon Exclusive Classics Dreadwind figure.

Once you are done checking out these galleries, do not forget to check out the rest of the galleries in the Seibertron.com's Toy Galleries in the Seibertron.com Toy Section.

I always liked the colour scheme for these two... too bad it's been 20 years and I still can't remember their names...

I once had the chance to get these two, in pretty good condition and with all the parts and everything, for a hundred bucks. Passed on 'em for a bigger prize (Fort Max in box), but man I'm still not sure I made the right choice.

That depends. How much do you enjoy Fort Max?

For whatever reason, I'm a huge fan of these molds. They're definitely some of the best. Plus it helps that they were fun characters and prominent characters in the Marvel Comic books.

As one of the biggest TFs ever made? Plenty. Unfortunately, that same massiveness also makes it difficult to display anywhere safe and so is kept in storage at my parent's place since some of my friends bring along their kids sometimes when they come to visit, and everybody knows that usually children like to look at things by handling the daylights out of everything. But my friends' kids are well behaved so it's usually not a problem (oh, but if they only could touch 'em...)

I had some knockoffs of these two, they never linked right, so I get Unicron eat them.

---KO's make great battle casualties---

However, nice job Ryan, keep the robot goodness coming!

I hear what your saying about the decision you made though. Once I wen't to a flee marlet in PA, and there was a guy who's wife was making him sell his collection. I got Grimlock, The Devestator gift set, WrecK-Garr, and Scorponok for about $60 all of them complete in their boxes.

Now please keep in mind this is one of the things that got me collecting again, and the next day I went back with $800 but the guy was gone.

Anyhow, because I was just getting back into this and Ebay wasn't around yet, I was unsure on the costs of things and wound up trading that Scorponok for a G1 Prime. To this day I kick myself for doing that, as now not only would it cost about $250 to replace that Scorponok, he is now the only US released playset/base that I don't have.

Man I suck :P

This is why I'm having problems of even thinking about selling part of my collection away. You just never know when you'll just need to see/touch/transform any said figure or have this overwhelming urge to complete a series of sorts (like the cityformers/bases.) I know I'm very proud of having hunted down and found all the Gigation TFs from Cybertron ('cept the repaint of the Recon Team. Ugh...) and have them all displayed at the top of my only bookcase (my apartment is SO underfurnished it ain't funny.)

But I feel for you, man. Loosing that Scorponok for a G1 Prime. Ouch. :BANG_HEAD: Whishing you all the luck in the world to have either TakaraTomy reissue it or you finding it dirt cheap on eBay.
