In these two, not so interested in the heads, but the accessories look pretty sweet.
It's a good day for Headrobots upgrades.

I think the spike detail on the skullgrin upgrade is reverse-engineered off of a Lego Hero Factory 3.0 element

And what of Skullgrin's new head. I think that's just the standard head turned around.

It is, the new head will be plugged on top of it.
I'll get the Skullgrin one for the accessories alone, I may pick up two and make a Dauros with a second Skullgrin. That way I'll have two different heads!
I may have to pick up Banzaitron now.

so far yes to Tauros, and no to Ronin. Also, can't wait for Highbrow and Mindwipe upgrades.
Stick that in you fife Hasbro.

This. It's a good head, but lets see what else Headrobots has besides a new noggin.

Damn it, I'm going to have to buy a Banzaitron. I wasn't real impressed by the first pictures but it's looking good now. I can't gather much from the Skullgrin pictures.

They look like a couple of interesting sets, but I'll pass!!
As a side note I discovered the other day that the word 'Ronin' means, "A Bushi or Bushido with no lord or master during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. A samurai became masterless from the death or fall of his master, or after the loss of his master's favor or privilege."
In modern usage, the term is also applied to describe a salaryman who is "between employers" or a secondary school graduate who has not yet been admitted to university.
So now you know, and knowing is half the....WHOOPS! Wrong cartoon.

So how do the preorders work for Headrobots?

Most of the mass-releases are available through the regular online retailers. The limited releases are done though http://www.megatoyfan.com.

They put out good stuff. It's heads, weapons and little bits that can really make a difference.
