Hook from The Allspark reported that Simon Furman himself stated that IDW Publishing will be releasing a number of Character One Shot comics! He told this at The Bristol International Comics Expo.

But that's not all! Furman also revealed two names that will get this treatment: Decepticon Shockwave and Autobot Nightbeat.
