Crosscut actually looks pretty nice. There aren't too many straight up silver Autobot figures I can think of. He certainly has bright feet, but if I didn't have Skids already, I'd consider getting him.

I like the fact they worked crosscut into the comics. Like Tankor if not I'll probably wouldn't want them.

I'm looking forward to placing him with SG Tracks to make some of the first eHobby original characters - Crosscut and Road Rage.

I'll keep asking this wit every single Gen. Skids repaint: are the hips still misassembled?

Judging by a couple of the poses, it appears not. It's hard to tell, but you can also tell by the slot on the hip part. If it's closer to the front, it's assembled correctly.

I picked up Skybyte & Roadbuster on the weekend. I like them much more then I thought I would to be honest. Skybyte, being the surprisingly better figure.
His shark mode is a clip together nightmare but when it's done it's a very nice looking figure. I think he will likely stay as a shark for the most part. Probably for the best as he has no vertical neck articulation and a really weird looking left hand.
Roadbuster is okay. Not great, but okay. The weapons are pretty lame and don't really clip together in a way that is pleasing to the eye. The head is a little too squished looking, but on the other hand he has a great range of motion and a pretty simple yet pleasing transformation.

Roadbuster is good for what I want on my shelf, a beefy, reasonably "Classic/G1" representation of the character. His transformation is intuitive and fun without being simplistic. I think part of what sucked the fun out of him for me was putting on over 30 different stickers. Hasbro, please, just stop it with the stickers already! Leave that bit of Transformers legacy in the past.
I like Sky-Byte a LOT more than I thought I would. He shell-forms quite a bit, but the transformation works well and is intuitive. I wish his head could look up just a tad bit higher. He must suffer from the same self-esteem/pathological shame issues as Classics Ironhide and Rathcet. It also helps Sky-Byte's case that I opened him up while watching Sharknado 2 with my partner. He did not appreciate Sky-Byte's commentary during the film, though.

In a plot twist, YouTube reviewer PaxCybertron did not upload a video for Crosscut first, but rather a look at another Generations figure from the same wave, of which we've seen in-hand images before: the redeco and extensive remold of deluxe Starscream, Jersey Shore Jhiaxus! Check it out in the embedded clip below.

Jhiaxus looks a lot better than I thought. Any chance for a repaint into Armada Skywarp?

Got an email from TRU this morning. Jetfire has been pushed to October for release.

I, love that Jiaxus! With that insane amount of remolding, he's totally worth owning, even if I already have Armada Starscream.

YouTube reviewer PaxCybertron just dropped by with a video review for Crosscut. A repaint of Skids from an earlier Generations wave with a completely new head mold. Will you be getting this figure? Let us know in the Seibertron.com forums and check out the video we've embeded below and remember keep your optics tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest in news and updates, plus the best galleries around!

Works for me... but as far as the figure itself... meh. Don't have enough connection to the character. Might buy it just to keep it in package, toss in the attic, and sell in 5 years if it ends up being a rarity, but I'm not going out of my way to find it, either. He's not a "big" enough character to go in my Lost Light display (what all did he do, other than be name checked, after all?).

I think Crosscut is the better looking of the two characters from that mold.

I want this guy most out of the wave. More than a headmaster thzt isnt a headmaster. More than a retool thats not colored the same as his G1/G2 imcarnation. More than a robot with a geisha head.

He's made of silver plastic, not grey.
