We just received news from Paramount that their teaser trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight, the fifth instalment in the live.action series directed by Michael Bay, reached 100 million views after its debut, skyrocketing to the most viewed trailer in the history of the studio. HOLLYWOOD, CA (December 7, 2016) - The trailer for Michael Bay's TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT has reached 100M views following its debut on December 5. A first look at the Paramount Pictures film was released to the world during Monday Night Football and quickly became the studio's biggest trailer launch to date.

The trailer saw 93.6M views in 24-hours, making it the third highest viewed trailer of 2016. Following the trailer's release, TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT trended on all major social media outlets, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Reddit. In China, where the trailer saw 16M views in 24-hours, the film was Weibo's #1 trending topic.

Director Michael Bay's TRANSFORMERS franchise has earned over $3.7 billion at the worldwide box office. TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT, the fifth film in director Michael Bay’s global blockbuster franchise, is based on Hasbro’s Transformers™ Action Figures.

Paramount Pictures will release the film in theaters on June 23, 2017.

Previous news reports mentioned something about Cade and Lennox initially being on opposite sides in the movie.

Sabrblade, where did you get that Lennox and Cade are on opposing sides? Is it from something official or conjecture?

My understanding of this movie is that it is a sequel, essentially, to AoE. THreads that started in that movie continue in this one. That's unique in this series. Pretty much all three of the early trilogy are stand alone films.

Soooo...Unicron's in it! I wonder how much it took to convince Bay to finally put him in the movie? also looked like either a Unicron created Prime(Nemesis Prime) or the genuine article being controlled by Uni himself! looks like this version of Unicron will prob be destroyed by the Omega Lock(Stonehenge) rather than the matrix! big questions are...who's doing the voice of Unicron & will it sound like him? also will he have a robot mode? & what will the toy be like? & what class size?

OK, I was just confused by which movie you were referring to as the penultimate film. If the trilogy starts with Age of Extinction then the penultimate film is The Last Knight.

So after some careful inspection of the teaser trailer, I've found the following:

There aren't any other easter eggs or other details that I found in the trailer, so now it's just time to wait for the next trailer.

Clancy Brown has always been my pick for a new Cy-Kill. Bernard Erhard's original Cy-Kill always struck me as sounding like a sillier version of DCAU Lex Luthor.

Oh, I loved Brown's portrayal of Mr. Freeze in The Batman. Actually, in that he sounds like Cy-Kill whispering. Just replace it with a synthesizer (or whatever they u to do that mechanical sound) and you'd have Cy-Kill.
