Listing For Transformers War for Cybertron: Earthrise Runabout Discovered

Thanks to Seibertronian Sentinel_Primal, we were directed to a tweet from the account @not_on_Twitta, which shows a listing in Target's systems for a Runabout figure in the War for Cybertron: Earthrise line. The listing shows that this figure has the Earthrise E-41 designation.

Transformers News: Listing For Transformers War for Cybertron: Earthrise Runabout Discovered

While no other information is available at this time, a Runabout figure would almost assuredly be a recolor of the Earthrise Runamuck figure, which is due out this late Summer or early Fall in the northern hemisphere, and would complete the Battlecharger duo.

What do you think of this news? Was this figure inevitable? A happy surprise? Let us know below!

Unsurprising, but also not unwelcome. Runamuck looks to be one of those incredibly well made, well designed figures that the recent lines have at least one of (Triggerhappy, Battletrap, the Weaponizers, etc.) so a second, black one would be ace.

How many more waves of ER past what we've currently seen figures for are left?
Are have we seen the end and the next waves will be from Kingdom?

As far as we know, we're missing the entirety of Wave 4, plus exclusives, and then Kingdom is next, unless we get another Siege situation where a bonus Wave 5 gets added (which is probably unlikely).

Right on. So Thrust and Runabout are confirmed. Well Thrust is basically...
Wonder who else we'll see in wave 4. ????

I initially really liked the look of Runamuck, until I saw the back of the legs...
But who knows. Man, getting or not getting MP Starscream is going to have a huge impact on whether I buy any of the many figures I'm on the fence about.
This duo is a couple of maybe's for me... I think they look pretty good, and it's cool they purposely share the same mold.

Doesn't seem all that well made to me, actually cancelled my pre-order for him through pulse, and got an email about a refund, so he might be closer than we think; his lower legs are essentially plates with knees and ankles attached to the back of them, and the fake wheels look awful to boot, not to mention they just hang around in vehicle mode, and for the life of me, I just can't see how he isn't an upscaled cliffjumper for the most part

Unless you get a preorder where you pay up front, mp Starscream 3.0 won't be out till next year as we Tigatron and Arcee still need to be released:)

pulse only charges when stuff is about to arrive at their warehouses to be shipped out, I've been using them for over a year, he's likely close

We have word that Earthrise Wave 2 Voyagers have shown up at U.S. retail! Seibertronian DinobotPrime425 found the only new figure in that assortment, Snapdragon, at a Walmart in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Included below is photo proof of his purchase, along with some nice shots of Snapdragon in jet mode.

Snapdragon is shipped with a repack of popular Wave 1 Voyager Starscream, and should be hitting U.S. retail near you... now! Online retailers are also listing Snapdragon in stock this month or early next. Happy hunting one and all!

I feel you on this... Not even so much because of the fake wheels, but dang it, these incomplete legs seem kinda jank-tastic.
I did like the idea of having a couple figures with Megatron & Soundblaster that are different from the 6 seekers I'll end up having.
These guys have been added to my 'maybe list', but the back of the legs is a shame.

Actually, Ol' Willy-Jameson pointed out on the FFF thread that the signs point to Thrust being an exclusive rather than a Wave 4 figure, so all we have on Wave 4 is Runabout (although Hasbro doesn't usually put repaints of the same mold back-to-back in the waves, so that's...odd if that is the case).

We're still missing Tracks and Skids from the '85 cars. I was convinced we'd see Tracks in Earthrise. That would also set up a Selects Road Rage, since Hasbro has been releasing many of the Diaclone decoes.

I always pose my figures from the back (I don't) or wherever they are the most hollow (also, don't).

sol magnus, word of advice: Don't get into a debate with Sowndwave76 about mold hollows. You won't get anywhere and it will just leave you drained - take it from me X.X

Looking at that pic of Snapdragon: Totally called it, he looks much better in situ than in the stock photos and renders.

I think one of the final product shots confirmed that he wouldn't have that odd white plastic like Apeface did. Still, it's nice to see it and know for sure.

That ivory-colored nylon plastic is essential for keeping certain of Apeface's parts from breaking. And I wouldn't mind if Snapdragon had it (not that his transformation needs it from the looks of him). But the renders and especially the Takara stock photos... They made the white look bad, obscured some of the detail...

So Runabout isn't going to be a Selects or Pulse exclusive, and he's not being put in a multipack with some other figures I don't want? He'll be available at retail? This day keeps getting better and better!

Genuinely surprised by this news. I thought Hasbro was all about tearing teams and duos apart and making us pay more to collect them these days. Was resigned to this being a Selects release or, as you say, being bundled with someone/something to put the price up a notch or three e.g. Siege Skywarp. If true I'm happy that one of my most anticipated releases (LOVE the Battlechargers!) will come out at the retail price point, but the cynic in me suspects there'll be a catch somewhere like only available during rare planetary alignments from a long-dead wizard in a burned-down forest @ midnight, or similar.
