Michael Bay: No ROTF Trailer Until February

Transformers Movie director Michael Bay has posted on his website about the progress being made on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Bay states that we will see a trailer either in theatres in early February or during the Superbowl. A Teaser poster could come out after the new year, and stills from the set will be released on his site during the next few weeks.

Hey everyone. Back from Egypt and Jordan - we had a wonderful shoot over there. I will miss the crew they were an amazing bunch of people and a lot of fun.

I'm stuck in the edit room up to my eye balls - also finished producing Friday the 13Th and The Unborn - coming out the after the new year. Our Trailer for Transformer you have been asking about - First there will be a teaser poster soon after the new year, and the teaser trailer will be out either in the theaters early Feb. or on the Superbowl. Cannot decide yet. I'm going to release some set stills on this site in a few weeks. I'll keep you informed. Going back to do more selects now from my portable avid that I take home from work. It's late, see you.

Last years Super Bowl had the movie soudntrack. This year's, a movie trailer. Sweet!

No trailer till Feb...uh...wait a minute.

Did he say "Friday the 13th"? Good grief, not only will the main character not stay dead but neither will that franchise. I've seen people in the ICU with more kick than that franchise... :?

Sounds good, but still a bit mad that it isn't coming this weekend, oh well I'm up to my eyes in work also...

It's worse than you think, it's a remake.

Rather would have Jason come back in a remake than in outer space...And one that might promise some nice gory laughs, since Bay went on record saying the remake will also be a bit of a comedy in Entertainment Weekley...

Variety Fair has confirmed that both the GI Joe and the Transformers: ROTF trailers for the Superbowl.
