Please note that the abdominal tab is not pulled down on either figure making them slightly mistransformed (see, it doesnt only happen with Hasbro).

Yeah, they're going for the models as specified by the original Diaclone toys. In Ironhide's case he's "Onebox Cherry Vanette" owned by Nissan.

Technically, ratchet has remolded parts, and those parts (the diaper specifically) play a major role in our subconscious understanding of what looks proportionately correct, the straight lines work a lot like patterns on clothing in making you perceive something in a certain way. I believe that that and the color are working really hard in this guys favor.
Plus the other factors, like the fact that he may be a lesser known/loved character and thus comes under far less scrutiny, or the fact that we knew this was coming and thus you are just resigned to accepting it.

Either works for me. They both still look very nice to me.

Would it would be safe to say that Hasbro would have no trouble releasing these guys since they released Prowl and Blue Streak who are also licensed by Nissan?

Yes, I think it is safe to say they will be issued by Hasbro. However, since the sled is a part all on its own I wouldnt put it past Hasbro to release them without it.Hellscream9999 wrote:D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Is it bad that i am entertained by how much we love ratchet yet there is so much Ironhide hate and they use the exact same mold?

That is all so well said. I would also like say that it has a lot to do with the fact that there is less contrast on ratchet. It's all white so parts like the hip kibble blend better with the robot.
It would be an interesting move on hasbro's part, if they did a full-blown retail release of mp ramjet...william-james88 wrote:Hellscream9999 wrote:D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Is it bad that i am entertained by how much we love ratchet yet there is so much Ironhide hate and they use the exact same mold?
