MTV Movie Awards exclusive ROTF clip

Posted by i_amtrunks Jun 1, 2009 at 1:38am CDT 15,729 views
Hours after the original ceremony went to air, Seibertron.com's Johndoe4880 has found a YouTube version of the 90 second clip shown during the MTV Movie Awards.

While the YouTube version is of decent quality, a better quality version of the video has also been uploaded on the MTV Website.

The MTV exclusive scene features Sam and Mikaela hiding out from a Decepticon search party, who are rather intent on catching their human prey.

To check out the video, please click here.

More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

"Video is no longer available"
Well that didnt last long. The youtube one is still there at least. For how long who knows.

The clip kinda sucks. Theres really nothing special about it. The only thing i got out of it was Long Haul looks awesome and Ravage would've looked awesome if the head wasnt so crappy.

I would venture a guess that one of the two behind Ravage was Sideways. As all the constructicons, other than Long Haul and Demolisher/Scavenger are yellow, those two looked more silver. And i can't think of who else the other silver Cons are at the moment, other than Megatron. I highly doubt one is Soundwave as they seem to be keeping very tight wrap on both him and Jolt(As i've yet to see them two in any of the previews at all.)

Yeah, I saw it wasn't up on mtv.com anymore, either. Youtube post is still there though. For the moment, at least.

That was amazing. I love the drk tone. But did anyone notice Sam's hand is still bandaged up, yet he could use two of his fingers (previously in guaze) to break the insecticon? Also, the yellow constructicn dissapears when th camera cuts to in front of Sam and Mikaela during the roof top jump.

For those still looking around the Net for it, TrailerAddict still has (as of 12Noon EST) a version up. Quality is terrible, though.

traileraddict still has it up as of 9:30 a.m. PST. They say their site is being worked on and that some clips may be kind of choppy. Still worth going to. Ravage is awsome looking. This is going to be one sweet movie!

Same here. I did watch the beginning of the show, and saw the "exclusive" footage. Wasn't impressed. Then I went and watched something else. MTV sucks.

Glad I Tivoed the awards so I could watch all the movie clips without Andy Samberg pestering me!!! Man I find him annoying.

Anyways the clip was great, and alot longer than I expected. It was AWESOME to see Long Haul towering about. as far as the 2 mystery silvery Decepticons. I agree the one could be Sideways, as it appears very vehicular in design. as far as the other one, I SWEAR to me it almost looks like it is a protoform. Like it hasn't got an Alt mode yet. However seeing as one of u pointed out Scrapper disappears, I'm guessing the CGI isn't all ironed out completely yet, and some of the bots may be unfinished models and/or stand ins. They are still running the shot of The Fallen teleporting, without the newly added Autobots surrounding him!!!!

It shouldn't be hard to find, between MTV and MTV2 the awards show gets replayed every 3-4 hours, and the clip starts 15 mins. into it. You should have plenty of opportunity to view it even without the internet. :)
