That's a surprising Cyberverse lineup, Walmart and Target in the US have really thinned them out. Walmart only carries 1 Step, Warrior, Roll & Combine and Roll N' Change. Target is pegged for everything, but never stocks anything, last time I checked they were down to some Scouts, one 1 Step Megatron, 5 Deluxe Arcees and a Ultimate Hot Rod.

Vintage Scorponok is 70$.
Glad I bought mine at Walmart.ca for 63$.
Still, I don't trust my local Walmart to have any new deluxes.
Also, yay, price hike.

Preorders are up for Cybertron Metroplex at Amazon.ca.
But at 300$, I'll wait for a sale or just miss out.

On my end, I have zero space (but space can find a way) and mid-interest.
So far, my Legacy money will be mostly for the Stunticons.

Please please please tell me.... Scorponok is sitting under the wrong tag, and is not in fact 70 bucks...

It is.
Same price as a leader. It was online at 63$ and I thought THAT was expensive. Glad I got mine at that price in the end.

I bet collecting every single MP releases is now way too overwhelming to continue but at least the MP-10 completion is still feasible, right?

MP-10's are fine. Only one I'm missing (just due to apathy) is the 2nd (Green) Atmos MP-10. But I'll get around to it.
MP collecting in general though... the V3 Seekers really made me re-valuate things. I have all three, but have only opened Startscream. And I don't mind saying, I was pretty disappointed in that mold. Those three figures cost around 1K (CAD). That is a LOT of money for something you don't even like. And maybe these things wouldn't have been so apparent, if a 3P hadn't immediately made it irrelevant. Deformation Space, Crimson Wing. My gawd. He is quality, and he is perfect. That's my TLDR review. But besides him, I can't even say V3 is better than Maketoys Meteor. Which... damn.
This has made me reconsider the completionist status of my MP collection, and I've been looking hard at Fanstoys lately...

Since I've been gone for a hot minute, lemme ask y'all Canadians: are you buying from Gamestop these days? Cause you really should

I'm a Platinum member and lemme tell you, GameStop is THE place to hunt Transformers. Best prices, and mostly the latest new stuff often available. Not counting the hot exclusives!
Too bad their online store is worthless.

But you're right. That discount, and the free shipping, makes them pretty much the best place for us right now. The past few years I've gone with A3U, but their $250 threshold for free shipping is pretty ridiculous. I get almost everything through Gamestop now.

I find their online store to be pretty decent. TRU is the one I'd say is worthless (unfortunately) at this point. Gamestop (for TF's anyways) seem to pop up when they should, and if you're relatively on the pulse then they should be obtainable.-Kanrabat- wrote:I'm a Platinum member and lemme tell you, GameStop is THE place to hunt Transformers. Unless their policies changed, the Platinum discount is only for in store purchases. No discounts when ordering online. Beside, everything is usually sold out, or preorders only.
A3&U is great for the 3P I can't get anywhere else and the 250$ free ship is scarily easy to reach. I just wish they would have a pile-of-loot system like BBTS. I would preorder way more if they did.
Amazon.ca and Amazon.jp are the best online stores for me. Usually, the shipping is always free (except for the .jp) and they are usually pretty reliable is you conveniently ignore the occasional crushed box. Plus for Masterpieces, Amazon.jp is unbeatable even when factoring taxes and shipping. Especially now with the low yen value.
I got both MP Skids, Reboost, Starscream 3.0, Arcee, MPM Starscream, Black Convoy 3.0 from Amazon.jp. I'm keeping an eye open for MPM-13 Blackout.
As for TrU, they can die in a fire.

It took quite a while, but now all size classes for Legacy wave 1 have ben found in Canada. The last ones to appear were the voyagers and leaders which have been found at Walmarts across the nation. The other classes have been found in Walmarts as well and other retailers like Toysrus, but it's been a slow trickle.
Toysrus is the exclusive retailer of the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line in Canada and the hotly anticipated Kup and Cliffjumper wave have been found there. However, these deluxes are $42.99. We all know Kup's colours are better, but are they THAT much better? That's the question Canadians are asking themselves.
