You want some Mini-Bots from Generation 1? We got some Mini-Bots from Generation 1! The latest instalment of the Seibertron.com galleries bring you a look at what Bumblebee's pals (now that the MP gallery for the G2 version is available) looked like in the old days, by showing off IGA Blue Cliffjumper, Bumblejumper, and Micro Change MC04 Mini CAR Robo 02 XG1500 (Yellow).

The head sticker and chest stickers are different, and the shade of yellow is different (at least on the ones I photographed). I think the Micro Change version was a lighter shade of yellow and the Transformers one was a more standard yellow, but it's really hard to tell in my pictures which one was the lighter shade.

I sold the Micro Change one and I'd still like to replace at least the chest on my Bumblejumper because of the scratch through the Autobot sticker. Other than that flaw, it's a really nice Bumblejumper.

For being G2 figures, they seem rather plain. Apart from just being shiny, I mean.

I think I dimly remember the cars from my early childhood, but without realizing they could transform. I dunno, maybe I'm confusing them with Hot Wheels or something...

We brought you the latest TFCC Starscream recently, which is based on the G2 penchant for neon colours, so why not continue with the actual Generation 2 Starscream and fellow Seeker Ramjet!

Jump back into the pool of funky decos with the two jets from the 90s, Starscream in his traditional white and red, with some thrown in purple, while Ramjet sports a completely inverted purple, teal, and black scheme! Both sharing the same mold, you can find their full galleries by clicking on any of the images below.

G2 Ramjet was one lucky Decepticon back in the day. He got the special honor of being the only Decepticon to get screentime fighting Optimus in the Generation 2 cartoon's opening sequence (made from G2 toy commercial footage, of course):

Sticker eyes... they really didn't want to paint anything, did they?

Ramjet's G2 colors are amazing. I'm glad Slipstream adopted them (more or less), since they probably would remain incredibly obscure otherwise.

More like paint app technology not being quite there yet to the level of today. They were released in 1992 you know? Stickers were phased out right before Beast Wars in 1995.

And Hb and TT still didn't implement it for the Seekers, whether it be TFC, Encore or the recent Seeker set. Kind of sad and frickin frustrating to attach....that's why we love the old bricks! :lol:
