Weibo user TOYSPIE has uploaded - with a large number of watermarks and an internal use only mark - an image from the upcoming Titans Return line, starting with a bang: Fortress Maximus! The toy will include deluxe Titan Master Cerebros, as we had seen already, an exclusive sword and G1 style deco and stickers, with release programmed for February 2016. Check out the mirrored, albeit small, image below.

Well at least we dont have to go crazy waiting till toyfair like last year. And now I am confused since he arms and legs still look like Metroplex's but his base mode is really different from this:

Am I the only one a bit dissapointed that the base doesnt look as fun as the G1 toy (which I dont own yet) ?

Well doesn't seem to be a Metroplex remold now does it....

EDIT:NVM It seems to be that their are some similar parts of metroplex so it probably will be a remold but we don't know until its released

I'm a little confused as well. Is Max using the Plex mold? I knew that is speculated but the base looks different. The picture is too small, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Arms are the same. Everything else is different, it seems.

I don't think his arms and legs look all that much like Plex's, and how can you discern whether or not he looks fun from that tiny pic? How can he not be fun? He's a giant city bot.
Can't wait to find out what kind of play features/gimmicks he has.

Well, the patterns on the arms are very similar, and I just noticed that the upper legs and waist seem to be the same.

The legs could fold in but time will show....

You know, I just thought of something. Maybe the reason that CW is full of repaints was that they were trying to offset the cost of making this.

:-? There is a SUPER INTERESTING fact on that board no one brought up yet, we finally get to have an indication at Hasbro's volume.

9K Global, 3K just US alone. Thats not a lot.

This should be quote of the week. If you're not having fun with toys, you're doing it wrong.

Also Coborton, I really liked the verticality of the G1 toy, how it wasnt just all ramps. This one seems more of the limbs spread out to form ramps and less like a city. Though I will wait for final judgement once I learn more of the play features. Didnt mean to sound like such an old man ;)

I accidentally quoted my own post somehow. I meant to quote yours, as to ask what the "Hasbro's volume" thing meant. If you look up, I have edited my original post to reflect that.

What if that's Cases. Metro was packed 2 per case right?

Not a huge number, but most stores only got one or 2 cases where it was available. It was a lot less well distributed outside of the US, it was practically a specialist only item in the UK. Only the bigger TRUs stocked it as domestic product, everywhere else seemed to be grey imports.

Then when you add in the fact that every titan figure so far has had at least 2 versions release by Hasbro, and that Takara will be covering the Asian market release.

It'd be interesting to know how many Metros and Devvy units are out there.

It means only 3000 copies of this toy will be available in the united states and 6000 will be available in the rest of the world. That is just 1000 more than a Takaratomymall exclusive for a country that has triple the population  .

It could be that the edition shown here is not the fort max we will be getting since not only does it have a production similar to a more limited toy, but it also speaks of exlusive swords and titan masters. How are these exclusive in comparison to other accessories found in other toys? Is there a bigger release that doesnt include the sword?

Well, then that seals the deal. I'll have to skip Bruticus and Sky Reign (temporarily, mind you) to get this guy.

Well now very interesting. The bot mode definitely looks like it has been metroplex extensively remolded, but it looks as though if that is the true city mode, there are some extra joints added in. If so, that would be so awesome! :BOT:
